One in Five US Election Workers May Quit Amid Threats, Politics: Survey

U.S. local election officials are increasingly concerned about threats and political pressure fueled by baseless allegations of voter fraud in the last presidential race, and one in five say they are somewhat or very unlikely to stay in their jobs through the 2024 contest, a national survey showed on Thursday.

There's an easy solution for this. Transparency.. No stopping of counting at 2 AM. No 'broken water pipe' nonsense. Fair review of ballots by both parties, not review from 60 feet away, and in some cases, with shuttered windows. Transparent audits of counties/states that were closer than a certain percentage point. Better verification of voter registration. Stopping of vote harvesting. Both parties have been guilty of this (most recently obviously the Dems), and both should be working towards it so that 'stolen election' narratives can be a thing of the past. However, I wont hold my breath waiting to see it happen.
