Delta discriminated against him for his political beliefs.

Delta has a contract with him. He didn't violate those terms, therefore Delta is solely in the wrong. If they have terms in place that don't allow certain things and he violated those, he would be in the wrong. There is no question about this.

That is speculation on your part.  Putting aside the question of whether Delta was justified or not, we don't know if the passenger's removal was for an insult to Biden, or for vulgarity in the insult.  Had the words been "Let's go Brandon", I would agree that the motive was purely political.

Here's a question..

How many [BLEEP] DONLAD TRUMP shirts were thrown out of planes from 2016 - 2020?

None? Yep.

I guarantee you there were hundreds if not THOUSANDS worn.
I can appreciate his cause. But I don’t ever feel that it is appropriate to wear profanity. If it was a “let’s go Brandon” hoodie, cool. But IMHO, it’s not cool to wear a hoodie with profanity spelled out. No parent want to answer, “what does “[BLEEP]” mean”?
As always, the moderates stand on isolated principles, which is how this snowflake is turning into an avalanche.

I averaged about one flight/month during that timeframe.  I don't recall seeing an F*** Donald Trump message on any flight (or anywhere else).  How many have you personally seen?

Regardless, the one indisputable fact remains, nobody on this message board knows the thoughts or motives of the flight attendant in question.

It doesn't really matter why she did it. That's the main issue with this, she screwed up because she was pissed at his shirt. If it didn't violate a Delta policy, it doesn't matter what she thinks of it. It's just an employee breaking corporate policy and now they will have to pay.

This is the point I've been trying to make.  You (and others) have been insisting the motive was political, yet there is no evidence to support this claim.

I expect Delta will pay out a quiet settlement to keep the story out of the news as much as possible.  I also expect the company is currently rewriting its policies and procedures for dealing with future instances.
