Tough-On-Drugs Sheriff Arrests Daughter In ‘Heartbreaking’ Meth Case

A Florida sheriff known for his tough stance on illegal drugs arrested his own daughter on Monday in connection with a meth bust. 

Sheriff A.J. “Tony” Smith, of Franklin County, Florida, was alerted to his adult daughter Kristen Kent’s alleged involvement in illegal drugs after a meth-trafficking suspect name-dropped her during a line of questioning.

Good for him. Hopefully, if she is willing she’ll choose not to hate her dad and realize what’s what. Tough position for the sheriff. Much respect for him doing the right thing no matter how hard it is. Hopefully this girl straightens out. Up to her.
