School districts pricing out parents on record requests by charging tens of thousands in 'exorbitant fees'

A freedom of information expert from Iowa told Fox News Digital 'that the government is using [public records fees] as a way to place records out of reach of ordinary folks'

Parents around the United States are being charged tens of thousands of dollars, including some fees into the millions, for public records requests in their school districts, Fox News Digital has learned.

Arizona passed a bill giving parents the dollars to choose their own schools. I'm not sure if they can use it for homeschooling cost but if so that would be a game change. Small groups of families could afford to hire teachers or for activities.
