Well hopefully that's just out of an abundance of caution but it's enough to make you stop and think. 

Its hard to imagine a world where nukes are launched again but damn we might be closer then any of us want to admit.

We tend to think of thermonuclear events in terms of the initial blast that very few people would survive. We imagine ourselves in pain and dread as the hot shockwave hits us and we die. But imagine yourself twice as far away from it, maybe not hurt at all at first, but your neighbors are hurt, your friends are hurt, nothing works, afraid to go outside, etc.

LOL. Come on, we survived Whoopis explosion over Roe v Wade and the Clarence Thomas rant, and no one had to duck and cover. It is Behar, however, so maybe it's warranted.
