IT was nice to see him making open field tackles last night.  It was bad the RB got that far but he shut a few plays down I think Wingard would of whiffed on.  Cisco has been solid in every game he has started.   I leave you with this tidbit,  I believe he could become a top tier safety in this league.

Cisco showed why he was a hyped prospect in the draft when given the opportunity, registering a PFF grade of 82.7 (Week 16) and 79.5 (Week 18) in two of the three weeks he was a starter.
I noticed that as well. He'll be your last line of defense at times so it was good seeing him step up into that and making a stop. I think once the bigger names get out there in front of him though he'll be able to drop back and play like that true roamer that he is and ballhawk that he can be.
^^ it will be nice when we get to see the entire defense at full strength for the entire game. Preseason is so frustrating, but it's better than no football.

With his speed (reportedly in the sub 4.4. range), seemingly instinctive play, and demonstrated open field tackling ability, he's an ideal safety.
He seems poised to upgrade starting S.

He seemed poised to upgrade FS in September of 2021 IMO.

I'm sure the time to develop has been good for him, but the primary difference is:

Yep.

The only pause I would have is I don't know the state of his knee last year.

But it sure seemed Urban Decay was intent of making him and others ride the pines unnecessarily.
He has the tools to be a top tier performer at his position.
Wingard looked like trash against second and third team Thursday night. To think we had Cisco riding the bench while wingard was being a severe liability in coverage week in and week out.

I just keep remembering what Doug said before he was selected...

"I see talent, honestly," Pederson said. "Is it perfect? No. You see flashes. You see the offense taking strides throughout the course of the year. You see the defense making those strides. Now, it's about, 'We've got to be consistent every week.' There has to be consistency. There has to be ownership with that.

"We're going to add talent. We're going to add competition. We're going to bring value to the roster. Every team does that. We're no exception to that. But I see talent here."

Maybe Cisco is part of what he saw.
I thought the thread title read "Getting drunk on the Crisco" and I had to hold my breakfast down.

Funny you mentioned that because I thought of the company Cisco --- thought their stock surged or something.

I wonder if Jenkins will play well to compliment us getting drunk on the cisco. Need a good chaser after taking a cisco shot. Those shots hurt!
I used to get drunk on the cisco back in the late 80s/early 90s it was all a blur.

Haha. I keep it to sipping slow these days. Its probably some crown or some kind of rum with some good company on game day.

my blood pressure and body temp tend to run a little lower, but I suggest you consult a physician if you're that warm.
