This is completely still Bullseye’s gig but I haven’t seen any mention of it and with the season opening tonight I figured I’d toss up a thread for it. I’m trying to make it a point to commit to it this year so here are my picks.

Jacksonville @ Washington
Clots @ Tinhorns
Giants @ Tacks

My picks-
Jags
Clots
Tacks

Please feel feel to merge this Bullseyes analysis and thread if/when he makes one.

Let’s start this year off right boys good luck.
Thanks for getting things started, here's to a successful season of picking the Jags to win

Jags 21 REDACTEDS 20 - This is really a toss up for me, but I remain hopeful that we start off strong with a dub in a winnable contest. The Redacteds miss Robinson and Young, and the Duval pass rush continues to rattle Wentz.

horseshoes 18 tinhorns(home) 5 - I don't know if this is a scoragami or not, but I don't give a flip about either team, so maybe a never-before seen final score makes it somewhat noteworthy.

tacks (home) 26 Giants 17 - This game is never as close as the score implies. screw the tacks, regardless.

I'll go Jags, clots, tacks.

I think the Jaguars are a decent team, now, and I think we'll have the strategic advantage against Wentz and the commies. If things go well I think the Jaguars could win by something like 24-13.

As for the clots game, I want to take the texans since the clots have lost so many opening games in a row, but the texans are pretty poorly formed team, so I struggle to take them. I'm thinking something like 24-10 clots.

The titans could lose, as their roster is quickly falling apart, but they seem mentally tough so I think they'll be able to get past a bad giants team. Something like 20-9.
Commanders over Jaguars

I just feel it's a bit too soon to get overly optimistic on our chances.  We seem to be pretty healthy overall, but both our backs are coming off injuries and may show a little rust, meaning more will be put on Trevor.  I expect this to be a close game, though.

Colts over Texans

On paper, this should be very one-sided, but it's week 1 and anything can happen

Titans over Giants

Again, should be another mismatch.

To this day I can’t tell if that is his normal awful ability to spell or if he is calling them a word that is probably censored by this forums stupid profanity filter but he continually gets away with cause certain SS board moderators defend his [BLEEP] all the time.

So watch out calling him a troll, you’ll get a ridiculous dm from someone (same [BLEEP] happened to me)

Jags are the worst team in nfl until they prove otherwise, thats why 2 years in a row they had 1st pick in draft.

I know you are not a troll. Overly cynical, definitely yes. As far as the fantasy stuff goes, part of being a fan, especially a Jag fan, if finding those small things to be positive about and going into games ready to cheer for my team to win despite odds and stats saying otherwise. Pulling for a team isn’t my job, it’s my hobby and my passion that consumes some of my free time so why would I use that time to be a over the top cynical pessimist?

I choose to do the opposite, call it blind homerism or drinking the koolaid but I feel good about it. You do you bud…  Everyone is well aware that we were the worst team two years in a row, you constantly pointing it out isn’t breaking news to us. It honestly gets annoying. So don’t be surprised when people take shots at you when you do it. Hopefully this year is different.
