Seems like fate..
The team made good moves in the off season. Coaching staff. Free agents who are contributing early. Draft picks that are showing up early. It's 3 games in. This team would have had 3-0 if it wasn't for the missed opportunities in the Washington game. I want to see them play stronger teams that aren't lacking players to injuries to better challenge them. If they can win over these teams, that's one hell of a progress over last year.

With all that said, this division is wide open after 3 weeks watching all the AFC South teams playing.

I’ve been guilty of this too, but guys…

We’ve got to spell our coach’s name right.  It’s Pederson.

My point exactly. Haven't seen it so bad since Mercedes Lewis...
Dougie Duvall.

Ah.  Color me whooshed then.  Point still stands for the OP.
He's a great football coach. Not afraid to be aggressive. Calls his own offense. Proven winner against a pair of the all time greats in QB play and fellow coaching ranks. Each week this team seems to add something new to it's identity offensively. You see these little changes and adjustments being made. It's slowly building and coming together.

You just have a feeling he's going to call a great game with Lawrence and upset the Eagles this Sunday. Just a feeling. Can't help it. But, you just get a sense that he's going to throw a curveball or two in this one that gets their defense back pedaling a bit. I am telling you. Etienne has been seeing a few plays here and there. Agnew has seen a few plays here and there. The TE position overall has been a little too quiet for a traditional Pederson style offense.

We know what we have with the receivers. I think Pederson is going to start adding in these extensive wrinkles where Etienne is more featured outside and Agnew starts seeing some reverse plays and more deep shots. But, it's Engram and Arnold man. He hasn't really delved into that twin TE stuff yet but this has to be the next step I think in his approach.

I’m glad the Jags hired Urban because it led to Dougy.

That was the only thing Urbs did right here, was sucking so much it led us to Dougie P and Walker.

He posts a graphic at about 1:40 in with Christian Kirk's pic next to James Robinson's stat line, and Walker's pic next to Zay's stat line.
I used to detest Rich Eisen. He came across as arrogant and smug to me. He still does a little bit the more I’ve watched and listened to him, he seems like a pretty savvy guy.

I think it's that his delivery is not bubbly or enthusiastic. He is very knowledgeable, but not excitable in the least .

This article summarizes a lot of it. Also, love Zay’s interviews hah.

Yeah, I get a kick out of Zay too.  Ever since the interview he did a while back when he was asked how his relationship with Trevor was going and he said something like, "Well, he invited me to lunch, so...  Pretty good!"  Was fun to see at that point that he had a silly side he wasn't afraid to let out.  Loved it Smile

"After the game, Jones wanted to pass the credit on to absolutely everybody other than himself. In an interview with Ashlyn Sullivan of Jaguars.com, he even gave a shoutout to backup quarterback C.J. Beathard for “a great knee at the end” of the game."

That is awesome, haha!

That's a weird take because he's always came across as a humble guy in my experience.
I have a feeling we're gonna have a Doug statue one day out front of the stadium.. Maybe petting the Jaguar.. Almost Ricky Bobby-esk..

The statue will have a plaque at the base that reads "ME" lolol
This guy is truly the best coach we could have gotten. The entire coaching staff is doing a great job.
Guys, looking at the numbers it is amazing what has been done in one year. Someone (I'll not mention the poster's name) said you can only roll about 20% of your roster so it would take 3 years to build around Trevor. Now I am sure that job is not complete, but loo at what has been done.

Starting Backups 3-4 Total
Free Agents 35% 20% 67% 33%
Rookies 13% 10% 33% 14%
Total NEW 48% 30% 100% 47%

To me this is an excellent job by both the Front Office and Coaching staff. I was concerned early on it would take these guys most of the year to learn to play together. Boy was I wrong !!
Media is definitely drinking some of the kool aid. That combined with they all want to take shots at Urban.

Urban deserves it.  In the photos taken with “fans” during the debacle at his bar/steak house or whatever last year.  You can see he is inebriated but I also see a “do you know who I am” type look in his eyes. That type of person definitely deserves their comeuppance.  Worst NFL head coach in history.  Tall order with Gus Bradley and several other college coaches vying for top billing, but he pulled it off.
Shoutout to Dougy P and his staff for getting us to the playoffs after a 3-7 start to the season.

It all started when we went for 2 against the Ravens.

I hate to be that guy, but I never lost hope. I lived through the miracle of 1996 and was at the stadium when Dave Widell asked the famous question. I’ve been here since 1993 and I’m going to bask if you guys don’t mind. You guys and myself deserve this moment in history.

The stadium was like it was back in the mid to late 90’s. Everyone in my section stood 75% of the game. The ladies in my section were yelling “get hiiiiiiiim” it reminded me of the early years when my parents would take me to the games and I tried so hard to get autographs. I still have Andre Rison’s football card that he signed during preseason. Tonight I took a moment and sat back and just noticed how full the stadium was and how this team affects every home-grown person in this city who was born and raised here. I noticed all of the bandwagon fans that I love because it helps our team with crowd noise and energy. I didn’t care that they were bandwagon fans, I just realized that it could always be like this as long as we are playing winning football. I thought back to the draft from 2 years ago and I was one of those people saying Lawrence is going to save this franchise and he is going to get us to the playoffs for the next 10 years. I made a stupid post asking if we would draft a QB if somehow we ended up with the 1st pick for the 3rd year in a row. I just sat back and enjoyed the crowds reaction when Allen ran that TD in. I let all of that anger and angst go and I was just happy. I felt proud. I hope everyone of those fans return when we host our home playoff game!

It won’t be too much longer and the Jaguars will have a brand new stadium. This kid Trevor Lawrence is special and he’s grown since the first half of the season. He’s the face of our franchise, and he’s about to be on every commercial and talk show, and radio show. He ushered in thousands of new fans in tonight. He won them over for life. He’s here bro! He did it!

30 total TDs and 9 int

I’ll stop basking for now. I hope this doesn’t offend anyone. Wolfie can you finally give us a reaction video. Come on bro, we’ve earned it. I know you’re hyped up right now.

See you guys in the playoffs AT HOOOOOMEEEEE!!!!!

Duuuuuuuvaaaaaaal

PS Make Dougy P the coach for the next 20 years and Lawrence a life long Jag, at all cost. We will worry about that when the time comes. For now, back to celebrating all week.
