The Jacksonville Jaguars' defense hasn't just fallen off a cliff. It has been taken to the edge of the cliff and then given a jet-pack trip to the very bottom.

Only three defenses have posted a worse EPA/Play than the Jaguars' over the last two weeks, with Jacksonville allowing 57 points in the same span -- 24 of which have come in the fourth-quarter.

Exactly. The 4th quarter collapses are discouraging. In addition to the timely penalties in all three of the last losses. Walker with back-to-back personal fouls and then Lloyd having an interception nullified due to the same exact penalty.

This is a combination of the players failing to execute and staying disciplined and a clear failure on Caldwell not properly coaching his team out of these holes and adjusting accordingly. They did nothing last week to stop Ryan from picking them apart. Just like they did nothing yesterday to stop Daniel Jones from running downfield on them.

The only reason this team has not been completely stomped into the ground this year is because the offense, thankfully, at least knows how to string a few drives together, rally when they need to at times and kill some game clock that either results in turnovers on downs, thanks to Doug's willingness to gamble and unfortunate turnovers inside the red zone.

It's a lot of give and take. However, allowing 24 points over the last two weeks in the 4th quarter is troublesome. The inability to effect the QB in the passing game and the inability to simply take something away from their opponent consistently is troublesome.

Even more troublesome when you look at the draft capital and cap space spent in trying to patch these issues up over the last two years. Caldwell has to get this fixed and fixed fast. He's got the Broncos and Raiders coming up next to scheme against. They need to get after these teams. Anything like these two last weeks is just unacceptable.

Pederson and Lawrence need to get it together. Etienne as well. These are the main three driving this offense at the moment. Cannot turn the ball over. Cannot gamble when there's three points to take on the field. Cannot get off to anymore slow starts offensively. Which, yesterday, they actually got off to a fast start. Love to see it. Let's just keep building off of that because it's pretty clear now the defense is now beginning to show that it's actually the liability and not the strength of this team anymore.

The same QB we allowed to go sackless and throw for 300+ yards is being benched today

Yeah. Just saw that. Ehlinger to start the rest of the year, regardless of Ryan's shoulder injury or not. I hope they fall apart for the rest of the year. Would be nice to see Reich get [BLEEP] canned this year and then Pederson hires him onto his staff for next year. LOL.

TN DL destroyed him in both of their wins against the clots OL.  I think once they lost both TN games they realized that if they stayed with Ryan they'd have to pay him all his money if he got injured which is pretty likely with that OL.
