'The View' host Joy Behar says GOP 'can't win' because 'demographics are changing': 'They have to cheat'

Behar claimed the GOP knows the future is 'not Republican'

"The View" host Joy Behar said Wednesday that the Republican Party can't win due to changing demographics and claimed they "have to cheat" in order to win, while discussing a crackdown on voter fraud in Florida.

"This is what they’re up to now, the Republican Party. Because they can’t win and they know can’t win because in because the demographics are changing and the future is not Republican Party, so they have to cheat," Behar claimed.

Sure, demographics are changing, but the population is also aging.

She lives in her bubble and because of that she is unable to see the truth. She has NO idea what our regular folks are going through. So ya, if all you do is have 6 hour brunches with your group of Karens then you would believe that...

Regardless of if people get more conservative as they get older, the two-party system encourages both parties to make subtle adjustments to their platform over time so that neither will ever lose or gain much in terms of the percentage of voters they get in each election. Look at how the parties have evolved on the gay marriage issue for one example.
But that's assuming that each party is controlled by rational and self-interested people.
The open question is, as each party takes more and more control of the selection of candidates from the elites and gives it to ordinary voters, will there be a set of voters that doesn't understand their own rational self interest, and steers their party into the ditch, and breaks the two party system?
