Yeah, we're happy with the guys we have.

Josh Allen for T J Hockenson.

Why would Detroit trade Hockenson (rookie contract) for Josh Allen (expiring contract)?

Oh wait, I'll play along ..... trade Shaq Griffin for Darius Slay.

I think Carolina would listen to offers for DJ. They are in rebuild mode.
Would be funny as [BLEEP] if they traded Walker Little to Dallas and a 2nd RD pick for Zeke Elliot and then proceeded to copy the 49ers offensive system.

Rather trade for a pass rusher.
NO to Lockett he’s 30 and under 6

We need a dude who runs a 4.4 and is 6 3

I would take anybody within a reasonably fair trade. Give me Metcalf or Lockett. Give me Higgins or Jeudy. McLaurin or Boyd. Plenty of day three picks to package up with a player to get this done.

I'd take Jeudy.

Chase Claypool is potentially available. Give me him and his size in a heartbeat.

Don't overrate Chase.  He'd be the best on the Jags squad, but he's not a real alpha.    Heck, the rookie the Steelers just drafted is the real alpha on their squad.    Will go get balls that aren't in his catch radius, is tall....fairly quick.
Heard a crazy rumor today that we wanna trade Marvin Jones straight up for Kendrick Bourne. Ain’t happening but hey it would be a wash

That's like trading a fresh ham sandwich for a two day old ham sandwich.

Metcalf and Jeudy would interest me the most. Both are young and have traits of legitimate #1 receivers. Added to Kirk and Zay Jones, the receiver group would be good to go. As far as compensation, that's a tough one. I'd hate to give up next year's number 1- which looks like a top 5 pick right now. I don't see Bengals trading Higgins or Washington parting with McLaurin. Lockett is good, but his age is a big negative.

Metcalf isnt going anywhere.  That Sea. team is cooking and he just signed a huge contract in the offseason

Good point. I didn't know about the new contract. I guess it's Jeudy or wait til next year's draft.
Good let's get a deep threat receiver that Trevor will overthrow by 20 yards

Maybe that’s why they need the deep threat.  Hell already be there and waiting for it?

Can we make one on the sideline or stands an eligible receiver?
"deep threat" is not an issue

Guys are open deep when they run those routes. Zay, Christian and Agnew before he was hurt. The film shows them all open on deep breaking routes.

They just don't have a dominant X type that can win contested catches and beat the press on the outside.
Adding that would certainly help, but it's not really about the deep ball IMO.

Protection is the primary issue with the deep ball. Trevor is under pressure too quickly on the majority of the plays that take time to develop.
Teams with 2-6 records are not buyers at trade deadline no matter how much we need it , it just doesn’t happen
the record does't matter. if jags were 6-2 they still wouldn't go after a wr. the owner isn't smart enough.

They literally said they want to get one. And it's not up to Khan, it's Baalke/Doug

Khan hired someone to do that.  It's not the owners job to look for a WR
They are looking for someone with a 5 foot vertical who can catch TL's overthrows.
