Their RB room is not good.

(Watch them run for 150 on us)

For me this is a game where the team sees where the bar is, where the level they have to reach is, how fine the margins are.

Obviously I'd love us to shock the world but even if we get finally blown out this year I still won't panic.

Another good learning experience for a team we can see progressing.

Worry over things you can control. Nobody thought we had a chance against the Bolts, everyone thought we would destroy the tinhorns.

Enjoy the show.
The good thing about playing the Chiefs is we 'should' lose so it's easier to just watch the game and observe how they're performing.

Most of all I want a good performance from Trevor.

Another good thing it will be Tony Romo instead of James Lofton in the tv booth.
I have to start jags defense in all four of my leagues this week.   Ravans will be on bye,and Jags defense is my backup.

Dump the Jags and pick up literally any other waiver wire defense.

For sure. If they win this game in Arrowhead it starts the conversation all over again when they started off the year 2 - 1. Nice little scenario and conversation to have during the bye week. Makes that Baltimore match up at home that much more fun and meaningful.

This is similar to the 1996 team. Tom McManus made a good point though. Even during that year. Before they got hot. They had a win and then got stomped by a good Steelers team that year before going on the rest of the way to win. So, even if they did lose to the Chiefs it's not out of the question to hold out hope.

9 - 7 is still possible. Highly unlikely, but, possible.
read some of the posts in there and some of them are good and respect us. others are normal KC fanboys as bad as the Cowgirls and Titan fans.
I wonder if increasing the use of play action would be helpful this week.

On defense, the biggest issue is going to be tackling dump offs and coverage in the middle of the field. I could see Kelce and Hardman eating the Jags alive there.

Agreed on both fronts. I think they're going to have to control the time of possession more than anything to win this game. A good mix of run and pass, but, in particular, the play calling in the passing game is going to be what makes or breaks their chances of success.

Lawrence basically has to play perfect in this game and our defense and/or special teams is going to have to make a play. Don't care if it's a forced fumble, an interception or a sack or two that results in 4th and long. SOMEBODY has to make a splash play or two.

Mahomes can put points on the board in a flash and in a pinch. Kelce drives the whole thing over the middle as you pointed out but it's the deep passing game when he starts to scramble around that terrifies me.

This is the game where, if I am Pederson and Caldwell? I pull Allen & Walker aside and tell them both privately. You both need to step your [BLEEP] game up this Sunday if we want to win this. You cannot allow Mahomes to sit back there uncontested in the pocket. You just can't. Almost getting there isn't getting there. It doesn't cut it. You have to put his ketchup eating on steak [BLEEP] into the ground.
Jags at the chiefs, can you smell the BBQ'd beefs?

Trevor will shine when he runs and passes, Chiefs going to play like Norbit's favorite meal...Turkey [BLEEP]!!

The jags will win BIG 42-10. BOOM!! Banana Banana

Jeez I haven't seen a fan board with more obnoxious fans since I visited the NE board during the AFCCG lmao. Now I want nothing more than to beat the crap out of them just so I can watch these people lose their mind.
Holy moly they r uptight

I'm not confident but I hope we smash em
Got Nantz and Romo on commentary, at least for once we can watch a game and not have the f tier anouncers.

I'm actually not a huge fan of Romo the past year or 2. I just don't feel he adds much.
Just hope Trevor plays well so the trolls stay away for another week.

Chiefs defense is much better against the run than the pass.  If we can block Jones I think Trevor can have a break out game

They referred to Trevor as a trans woman. I think they like him in that funny sort a way. Laughing
