Quote:How did they get their top 5 ranking?
They started at 7th.
They won.
Teams in the top 5 lost.
They have a lot of returning starters.
They had one of the better recruiting classes.
Not to mention a top 5 coach.

You are just inviting trash talk. I hate Jim Harbaugh even more now than when he coached the 49ers.

You do that constantly...

It's not inviting trash talk. Harbaugh is a top 5 coach.

I'm an Iowa fan and even I thought it was pretty simple.
Michigan is a good football team.

You will be glad I can't post here during Rivalry Week.

Finished 12th last year, returned 16 starters. Brought in Don Brown (the DC that led Boston College to the #1 defense in the country). Brought in the #6 recruiting class.
That's why they started 7th this year. They got to 5th because they took care of business week 1 and two teams ahead of them lost. What's the issue?
Quote:Saturday, September 10th
12:00, UCF at #7 Michigan
3:30, Kentucky at #25 Florida
8:00 Virginia Tech at # 9 Tennessee
Interesting game and set up on a race track. Something drastically different in terms of stadium.
A big ol' dud compared to last week.
What are yours?
Michigan homerism aside, this probably won't be a very close game at all.

I just asked a question because I did not know anything. My only issue is a Michigan fan calling Jim Harbaugh a top 5 coach after one week. That is looking through maize and blue glasses.
Trav, I think you will really enjoy watching this Michigan team. The defense plays with attitude. Don Brown was known for his attacking style at Boston College and when you put that style with athletes like Jabril Peppers and Co. you get some fun defense to watch.

It's not calling him a top 5 coach after 1 week.
Quote:What about the offense?
The offense returns 8 starters including
WR Jehu Chesson 764 yards, 9 TDs in 2015 (projected day 2 draft pick)
WR Amara Darboh 727 yards, 5 TDs in 2015
TE Jake Butt 654 yards, 3 TDs in 2015 (projected day 2 draft pick)
They return their top 3 RBs from last year (Deveon Smith, Ty Isaac, and Drake Johnson) but it's looking like the true freshman (Chris Evans) might be the best of the bunch.
Why do you think Michigan is overrated?
Michigan's schedule sets up nicely for them. They should be undefeated going into the Michigan State game the final weekend of October.
Quote:Another Michigan thread.
The conversation was on Michigan long before I entered it. I merely joined it.

You can't talk about Michigan here. Josh gets his jimmies rustled.
