My picks for Arrow pointing up!

+Trevor Lawrence has played much better recently. I gave him some criticism a few weeks ago. Lately he has been playing like the guy we hoped he would be. He is learning to put some touch on the ball while also making plays with his legs.
+Travis ETienne has proven to be that explosive playmaker the team needs. He did not get much chances against KC due to us falling behind. I see a bright future for him.
+Chrisitan Kirk has been worth every cent. He by far is the teams best receiver. A TD target. Through 10 games he has 7 TD's.
+Jawan Taylor has had his best season by far so far. Yes he got beat by Chris Jones a couple of times but Jones is playing at an Aaron Donald level this year. The Walker competition lit a fire under his rear.
+Agnew is becoming that return specialist the team needs. It looks like he is recovered from the injury last year.
+Andre Cisco is becoming that enforcer in the middle the team needs. He is having a good season.
+Luke Fortner is doing a fabulous job for being a rookie center. People do not realize how rare it is for rookie centers to even play. He has had some bad plays but great overall for a rookie.
+Tyson Campbell is going to be a good long term corner. He is a top 20 corner in the NFL
+Doug Pederson is building something here. This young team has shot itself in the foot but the team is better than the record. I think this team will be good next year.

My picks for the Arrow point down!
-Josh Allen has fallen off the map. Outside of him getting a QB tackle from a Walker hurry I didn't even know he played today. I cannot recall his last sack.
-Brandon Scheriff has not lived up to his contract. He has been ok but hardly the player the team thought we were getting.
-The entire defensive line cannot get pressure on opposing QB's.
-All Corner not named Tyson Campbell. Just beat like a drum on a regular basis
-Travon Walker has struggled. Yes he is a rookie but not putting up number 1 overall numbers. Still really early but not great so far.
-Shatley is playing like Shat. We need a LG.
-Jenking is bad. He made a couple good plays today but easily made up for that with several bad ones. We need another starting Safety.
-Riley Patterson killed us with 2 big momentum misses. The team will probably be in the market for a kicker again next year.
-Mike Caldwell needs to go as Coordinator. Receivers wide open has been happening just too often. I saw plays today that had KC receivers 10 yards open with nobody around them. Scheme Suck!
I would stick with Patterson at kicker. He has a live leg, he just missed em today. Unless it’s Justin Tucker, a kicker can’t make 100% every season.

Lawrence is still missing on basic throws but then he will come back a few plays later and throw a dart. He’s playing better that’s for sure.

Scherff had a rough game.
Taylor had a good game up until the sack. I’m not making excuses for Taylor but go back and count in your head from the time the shotgun snap hits Lawrence’s hands, he has about 3.5 to 4 seconds to throw the ball but he chose to eat it for whatever reason. Maybe the play wasn’t there, maybe he saw something he didn’t like and didn’t want to turn the ball over there, so he took the sack.

The defensive line can’t sack a toilet bowl. And we can’t play press man on the outside. We’re a zone defense and the good QBs will pick you apart.

Cisco played his best game as a pro today. 2 bone jarring hits and a pick. Jenkins is one of those guys that thinks he’s really good but he’s not. He just can’t cover. They run a player in front of him and he sinks deeper, only for the other player to cross under/over and now he’s stuck in between 2 guys and doesn’t have the closing speed to make up the distance. Mahommes killed Jenkins today.

Lloyd with another turnover today. He has the interception on the last play against the Raiders last week and today he found a way to get another turnover. Maybe they stuck Muma in there for the last couple of drives because KC was gonna run the ball? Hopefully Lloyd isn’t injured. We definitely need that guy for the future of this team.

Coach Pederson is my guy. Still his first year and I like how we are in every ball game with a chance to win. Even though we have 3 wins, we can play with any team in the league.

Oh and Kirk is a stud. Etienne is starting to get game planned. Engram had a TD called back because of a ticky tacky call of a RT down field, when the play was to the far left. Just a bad call right there.
In spite of losing 6 out of the last 7 games, I feel pretty good about our future.  Trevor has strung together two really good games, and looks like he could be a franchise QB.  Our offense moves the ball consistently.  It just seems like we need a few more players and a year of experience.

Usually I'm either angry or depressed after a loss, but right now, I don't feel bad at all.  I think we're a lot better than our record indicates.
Plus
Trevor
ETN
Kirk
Fortner
Tyson

Minus
Scherf
Patterson
Allen
I would keep Scherff. He’s better than anybody else on the open market.

I mean they lost to one of the 2 best teams in the league.

Can’t get too depressed about playing pretty well.
I feel good about most of the in offense. I feel bad about most of the defense which is frustrating because that's where we spent most of our draft capital.

Yeah I agree. I'm not using it as an excuse but the last two seasons were so bad for this team, the departure of any real talent, the relentless losing, the inept coaching and improving the players we had. You didn't see players getting better, if anything they seemed to get worse and mentally they looked broken. We were the deserved worst team in the league, we didn't tank.

But I see progression this year. I see players trying, I see schemes and gameplans and this team is playing hard. We still have too many errors and stupid mistakes but that's down to the issues from before and Pederson is seeing who gets what he's doing and can work in his system and who can't. When you looked at the roster last year we had no depth and a number of starters were backup quality really.

It's going to be a tough fight and there's 31 other teams trying to be better so we can't afford too many mistakes with FA and draft picks to get this roster better but I have faith that Pederson will improve players with coaching which has hurt us so much. We have a QB, we have some talented players on both sides of the ball. Just need the good players to become great players and improving the quality of the roster and competition for places.
I would go with a 3rd linebacker and blitz way more often to generate some sacks after the bye week.

The zone would work if they would cover the player in their zone. But what they are doing is dropping into a zone and guys are running free.
I like bringing devin Lloyd as a pass rusher more.
10 pt loss on the road to the leader in the AFC by record. No doom and gloom for at least this game. For some previous ones? Yes. We should have notched at least 2 more wins than we have.

Should of been less than

Had Robinson not been a bone head and Patterson had nailed his kicks

Robinson took 4 points off the board and Patterson took 6 off the board. There's the 10 point difference right there.

If Kirk catches that 30+ yarder on our first series that bounces off his chest, it puts us at the 10 yard line and gives us chance for at least another 3 points.
The only plus that matters, is that Trevor looks like a different QB the past 2 weeks. I'm actually excited to see what he does coming out the bye week.
I think it's a much needed week for the organization to take a break. Come back with a refreshed attitude and work on the things that need to be corrected. We had a chance to beat a top team and just fundamentals and missed opportunities doomed us. I think the arrow is pointing up but the schedule isn't doing us favors, we have to come back and be ready to play each week or we'll be a top draft pick again.

Why even think he's not here next year? He just signed a gigantic contract, he's not getting cut.

Yeah, but if the game were closer I don't think KC enlists prevent offense, either. They were absolutely consuming clock more than yards in the fourth.
I think the negativity toward Patterson is extremely short-sighted. Before this week, a street free agent that missed two FG? That's surprisingly effective. We could have had a disaster in the kicking game without him there, and he's got plenty of leg. The misses hurt this week, but KC is a formidable team and we did well to keep it as close as we did. I think Reid took it easy on Doug once they were up three scores and time was running short.

For the season, obviously the skill position players on offense have impressed. TLaw, ETN, Kirk, and especially Engram. He's proven very valuable to this offense, and I'm glad that he's working out for us. Campbell is looking good on D, and the LB corps quickly turned from glaring liability to potential strength for the future.

Biggest plus though has to be that watching our favorite team play is fun again, even if we aren't winning every game. We're getting there, it will come if we keep building around the plusses.
The offense is slowly improving as Trevor is improving. The defense on the other hand is weak we've gone through several coordinators that haven't been able to fix that. Yes the whole team was bad for a few years but this still indicates it's the players more than the coaches...

It's just typical Jaguars that when Trevor is solid(but unspectacular) then others make stupid mistakes. Why, why, why?
