Pittsburgh knows they have a good one in Pickens. Otherwise they wouldn't have shipped Claypool off to the Bears. There's a lot of things the Rooney's historically get right up there. That's the RB, WR and LB positions.
Mike DiRoc dropped an interesting and depressing stat about the team today. If Etienne and Kirk both eclipse 1,000 yards this year? That would mark just the 2nd time since 2004 that a RB and WR accomplished that in a single season here. Since 2004. It's happened ONCE.

What are they both on atm.
ETN - 725 rushing yards
Kirk - 679 receiving yards

I think they'll get it. There's plenty of football left.

Didn't we go like a decade without any 1000 yard receiving seasons?  Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but we might have gone from Jimmy Smith to Allen Robinson without having a receiver break 1000.  It's just sad what we've had for receiver talent on this team for almost 20 years.

Yeah. Sounds about right.
It would be great for both guys to stay healthy and achieve this. It will mean a little to more (to me) if Kirk does it. One of the things I heard a lot when we signed him was how ‘He’s never even had a 1,000 yard season’.

Yeah... I sure hope they get 300ish yards each in 7 games. I mean it's only 50 yards a game or whatever

It's refreshing though. We finally have an NFL caliber offense operating consistently enough. I really am excited about this team's future. Especially with Pederson and Lawrence working together on offense. Hoping it turns out to be a Payton / Brees combination here for at least a decade or longer.

Interesting. Never hurts to do your due diligence. Probably just PS/offseason guys for now, but you never know what might happen.
Is it time to see more Tim Jones?

The receiver from Canada has some size to him. I like the effort though. You never know. Like you said, probably have a few more PS/Offseason guys for now.

what is the fascination with bottom of the roster guys?

Do we really think that the team holds itself back by keeping better players on the bench (disregard last year, for cripes' sake, Urbz.)?

Unless one of the top four guys is hurt, it's probably not time.

I thought that, or one or more of the PS receivers just aren't clicking.

Surprised to see Kevin Austin Jr. still holding onto the PS. Had a little bit of hope for him earlier this year when I saw him added to the team. We have pretty good depth. My only concern is Agnew.

He seems to be brittle. The only other thing I could think of too is the fact that Marvin Jones is more than likely gone next year. They might want to start looking at somebody closely to potentially move up onto the depth chart going into December.
They invited two guys named K. Baker? Was someone unsure which one they wanted to see so they invited both? Lol

Imagine that being the case and they [BLEEP] around and find out that one of them is legit and is our next big name receiver.

You have to let guys like that play sometimes to see what they can do. No one is advocating for Tim Jones to start, but if your team is out of the playoff hunt, maybe consider getting him a few snaps. However, the one caveat is that I would not want to put anyone out there who might stunt Trevor Lawrence’s development. That is overall the most important thing, certainly  way more important than getting a back up wide receiver some reps.
