Man, I miss the mayor.
So does the team. 10.5 sacks per year during his time here, 31.5 total. We could sure use that now.

I wish Calais would have been our draft pick in 2017 rather than an old free agent. Imagine having that guy for 15 years.

Could we have hung onto him? Or too expensive?

We could've, but why would you expect that front office to do anything other than the Wrong Thing?

I felt the FO were doing him a favour really. Wanted to give him another run with a contender while he was still good.
That he's still as good as he is now is a huge credit to him.

Calais is my all-time favorite Jaguar despite not being here that long. He was a key figure in their playoff-run and always a first class guy in every way.

Calais was and is a Pro's pro.

I’m always hesitant to wish things would have worked out differently with certain players because who knows how that would have affected us getting TLaw + Doug. But I sure do wish Calais was here right now with this current team.

Hard to argue this, although Stroud/Henderson was a pretty formidable interior D line, Kevin Hardy was a force at LB, Darius at SS and Brackens as a DE.

Campbell should of won defensive player of the year that year. He actually did win it by the PFWA and Sporting News DPOY voted by the players
