I'm going to admit that wingard has grown on me. This guy plays hard with a lot of heart and makes plays.

We don't deserve the 2022 version of Wingard but we sure do need him.

I keep waiting for him to get an unnecessary roughness penalty or to get flagged for taunting after making a stop on 3rd down while down 21. Then we'll all groan and remember why so many people hate having to start him on Defense... And yet, today, he'd probably still be the team's best player on defense.
