If Jags lose next two but beat tacks they are 7-10 and 3-3 in the division
but we'd have the tiebreaker by sweeping the tacks

The odds are that the winner of the division has 8 games. Yes, there is a opportuniity that 7-10 is the winner. But do we really want go back into the AFC South title in that manner?

Division tie break comes after head to head, so even if we had the same 7-10 record and the titans had a better division record, we would still win the division if our only other win was against the titans based on the first tie break which is head to head match up.
If we win the next 2 and the titans the titans' only other win was against us, we would be tied at 8-9. In that instance we would have an equal head to head record so it would go to the next tie break which is division record and the titans would have the better division record and would win the division based on that.
Just win one game at a time. It's not good to rely on another team to lose. It's in the jags hands. Its in the titans hands too.

Yea I don't particularly care how it happens, I just want that season finale to be a defacto playoff game. We can be 6-10 going into that game or 8-8. I dont care. Just want that game to matter and of course to win it. First year in a long time I haven't been able to make it down for a game. But if that game is for a trip to the playoffs, I'll figure out how to make it happen.
Just win it. Could be sneaky dangerous in the playoffs if we get in with the vast majority of our losses this season coming in the 4th quarter if not the final moments. This team can play with anyone.
For anyone thinking a 7 win team can’t make the playoffs just ask the Seahawks…
I think they beat the Saints in the playoffs. I don’t feel like looking it up but I know they made the playoffs.

There's film of him playing in the NFL and most of it is film of a terribly raw rookie who needs at least two years to play at the NFL level.
