Did I miss him?  Is he hurt?

He played well for Jags.
Past performance does nothing for his future gains. Jets got damaged good it would seem.
Maybe we can have him back for a 7th round pick

Just playing. I hope he gets a shot at playing. Hes not getting a chance with the jets. The guy has a lot of heart and is a solid running back. He just needs to be on a team that needs a running back. I'm not sure why the jets arent giving him a real shot. Their running backs are blah

I tried to tell people this and was labeled a “JRob hater”.

If he was actually good, he would have played last night. ESPECIALLY against his former team. Achilles tear for an RB is a death sentence
I remember his first media availability for the jets he tlaked about how good it felt to go from 2-5 to 5-2. Brought that stank of losing to the jets.
He had some good runs early in the year so I truly do wonder why and how he fell so fast.

Yeah, I was surprised he had as much burst as he did in his first game back.  Not sure if I saw the same explosiveness much after game 1.

The Achilles can’t hold up for as long as it usually does.

Just look at the splits after like week 3. Some of his big runs were also on blown coverages on like 4th down.

He would have been the PERFECT compliment to ETN if he had never got hurt. But he did and the Jags saw an opportunity to fleece the Jets and they took it.
Yeah but he’s been a healthy scratch since shortly after he got there. He’s not on the injury report as far as I know. If he was dealing with recurring achillies issues he’d be on the report right?

As much as the idea of keeping him on the bench so he doesn’t hit his trade related threshold numbers was poo poo’d, Shadrick during pregame coverage alluded to the same thing.
I feel bad for him. I hope he's able to hit the market and find a fresh start elsewhere. He's a deserving, humble young man. All good things will come his way in due time.

He hade swelling in his knee when he reported to NYJ and they had to drain it.

I don't know how in then world he passed a phys for the trade to execute.

We pulled him out of the dust bin, got some good use out of him and then tossed him on a flea market table and traded for some value. Not a lot, but something. Baalke played it shrewd, and it paid off.

Not being on the injury report but inactive for some time now leads me to believe he either doesn’t grasp their run scheme, isn’t as good as other options on their roster or they don’t want to wind up giving up the 5th.  It’s probably a little bit of all of the above.
I do wonder if rushing back too soon has caused him to just not have the strength and conditioning to execute. J Rob was never an amazing athlete or super fast. He has great vision and patience and understands schemes.

Even just losing tick from his speed, quickness can dramatically lessen his effectiveness. And rushing back so quickly probably is leading to issues along the chain, such as the knee, and also affected his normal pre-season prep.

LOL

Yes, it sort of appears so

Did you see the clip where a young Jags fan yelled "Baalke Master Class!" at Baalke from the stands last night?

Baalke was on the field and walked over and gave the kid and his guest field passes for the game last night.

Engram, Kirk, Zay, RRH, Campbell, Fatukasi, Oluokun, Little, Key, Agnew, all adding up to look like Baalke doesn't suck as bad as the insane clown posse  wanted us to believe. Not to mention Doug friggin Pederson.
Thats fine i guess.
I still think he’s better than Hasty
He’s a free agent. Would be hilarious if he signed back here.
