Me personally would rather have a Saturday night game.

Not sure how much of a disadvantage for the team though. They played pretty much a half of football today on a long week. With it being a home game I wouldn’t think rest would be a factor.

That's some bs if it works out like that.

One less day of rest for our boys... Oh well, I'm feeling good about our team and how they are playing with confidence at all 3 levels of the game.

Yep as soon as Lions Pack became a win or go home I knew they would bump us. Bigger markets more national interest with the packers.

Well if that's the case, I really hope our fellow cat-bro's beat the cheeseheads for that playoff spot.

Playing Saturday would give this team 5 days of rest vs the titans' 8-12 days of rest.

That's a big discrepancy but at the end of the day these guys are all professionals.

And I can say for once in a LONG time, that our team has been playing like true professionals and are also led by a phenomenal head coach in Dougie P.

Stop Derrick Henry + score fast and early = win.
This game better not be on ESPN. That's a bunch of BS. It needs to be network television.
I'm guessing they'll make the 1pm Sunday games AFC games and the 4pm games NFC games as there are quite a few teams who's destiny's require helping hands so makes sense to play them at the same time. Packers-Lions will be SNF.

I think on Saturday it's a 4.15pm game and 8.30pm game and I just hope we get the 8.30pm slot. This is a BIG game and while it may not be attractive to outside fans, this is a win and in and a Division winner game. It deserves some respect from the league.

Not to mention, it also features future HOFer William Trevor Lawrence.

100%. When the media is raving about QB's like Mahomes, Allen, Burrow they are going to have to start adding Lawrence to that list.
Hopefully it's Sat night

Yeah I can count. My point is does it matter? We have a young team, that played essentially a preseason game tonight coming off a long week already.
Having the Lions Packers play sunday night doesnt make sense to me as the Seahawks outcome has huge implications. If Seahawks win earlier in the day then the Lions will be eliminated before they even play the Packers. Makes the most sense to have those two games being played simultaneously. Should make those two games the 4pm afternoon games.

Jags-Titans makes the most sense to be sunday night as it is essentially a playoff game. Win and you're in. Yes there would be a slim chance the Jags would have clinched a wild card before it starts but we still need a bunch of help for that. If the NFL didnt want the Jags/Titans for sunday night, then I could buy the Bengals Ravens if it is for a division title and a home game. I could also understand a game like Philly/Giants or Chiefs/Raiders as both Philly and KC will likely need to win those games for home field and either could lose so the games may be compelling.

I think last year's game was Chargers-Raiders as it was a true win and in game.

The thing that gets me is if a team like the Cowboys or Patriots were in our exact situation then it wouldn't even be a debate, it would be the SNF game. But as its Jags-T*tans....suddenly its an issue.
I’d bet they will want both nights to have implications. They don’t want us on prime time. The Saturday night slot or Sunday at 4 the most likely.

Yea agreed.  I'm sure Tennessee being in freefall isn't helping either.  If this were one of those loaded Tennessee teams or if Henry was in his prime then things may be different.
We're a perennially bottom dwelling team which has been ascending for only the past month in a conference which is bottom dwelling this season. I know it sucks to not receive the national attention we want, but you have to be honest about the situation and see it from the broadcast Bubba's viewpoint who are looking to maximize profits. We will get prime time exposure when we truly deserve it.
