This is so sad.. I was subscribed to his YouTube channel and loved watching his videos. Heartbreaking.
I remember he came on the board back when he was playing. I messaged him personally and he responded very quick. Rest in peace big guy.
Just sad news… RIP big man… this man needs to be honored at the final home game
That is very sad. The guy was a stable in the community. Was it sudden or was he having health issues?

RIP Uche.

I was about to say, didn’t he interact on the old message board from time to time?

Terrible to here, he was a great lineman and from all accounts an ever better person.
Another one who died suddenly……
So very sad. Can't believe it, 38 is so so young.
Uche was a solid player and had an engaging personality.  He was loved during his time as a Jag, and will remain so even though he has passed.  We miss you, Uche.  Rest in peace, man.
Wow this is sad. 38 is ridiculously too young. I never had the honor to meet him personally but I have heard a lot about the man.

Rest easy big man.
What in the.. I've been watching him on YT recently, this is shocking and awful news.
Very sad. RIP 77
Life and death is a fragile line that many take for granted. Everything is great until it isn't. Prayers for Uche, his family, and his teammates.
I just can't believe it. His YouTube Channel was so good. Just this weekend I was wondering when he was going to post his next video... I don't want him to be gone.

Rest in Peace, Uche. A unique and interesting person, in the best way a human can be unique and interesting.

...it's not time for that, it's time for thoughts and prayers.
When I first heard it on twitter I couldn't believe it.
Rest in Peace Uche

It's true that it's sad but it's not unusual of NFL players. About 1 in 4 (28%) of the big men (qualified as Obese) die before their 50th birthday and 75% of those deaths are heart related. The big men have heart problems because they carry so much weight for so long and I'm glad to see guys like Tony Boselli and Joe Thomas get that weight down as soon as they're done playing. These guys pay a price to play in the NFL and they often pay for the rest of their lives.
