If it’s the chargers, maybe they’ll be kind to the west coast fans and put it later in the day for them.
We were Sunday at 1:05 for the Bills WC so that’s what I expect again
Could be, but I don’t think they’ll do that to the chargers if it’s them.

But won’t they just play the Bengals?
I would rather play the Jags than the Bengals lol
They are familiar with the Bengals in their division. They would probably rather play the division opponent.

Charges have to lose, so they would rather rest than play them twice in 2 weeks.

They already beat them earlier in the year and lost to us as well, not to mention the familiarity with the Bengals

I don’t know about that.
I’m not sure what their angle is but it’s likely just giving players a rest.

Not really an option with the Chargers being the opponent unless the NFL screws them.
There are 3 night games but 1 will go to SF. Bills, Cowboys, Giants, Bengals vs Ravens, etc all will take the weakest spot. The Saturday 4PM is generally the least wanted game from the broadcasters.

Bengals can move to the #2 seed if Buffalo loses. It could matter for the Jags if they win the wildcard game.

Prefer the Ravens tbh, but we can beat the Chargers for sure too imo.

Their angle is probably, can't win the division doesn't matter who we play next week just wanna be rested
Any chance dominos fall in such a way we get Phins?
Like Ravens and chargers lose, phins win?

Jags play the 5th seed regardless. Chargers or Ravens, but Ravens are getting routed in Cincy now, so almost certainly will be Chargers.
Phins are in competition with Steelers and Pats for the 7th seed, the last remaining spot

Unless a miracle happens for the Ravens with a rookie QB in 1st start, the only thing that could effect the Jags is for the division round. Either Buffalo wins and is the #2 or they lose to Pats and Bengals win and get the #2.
If the Jags win, hoping they aren't the lowest seed and face KC.

If we win that Super Bowl trophy then it won’t matter who we play.
That’s all I want. Please football gods.
I still don't think this team is built to go deep, but they've already proven me wrong a few times this season when I doubted the defense's ability to continue forcing turnovers, so... who knows?
They won't lose for any lack of giving it everything they've got, and that has been really fun to watch.
This season has been a season of breaking streaks...well apparently no team has ever went from worst to first and had a win in the playoffs. According to the graphic I saw 4 other teams have went worst to first and made the playoffs...but none have ever won.
Are we better than the chargers or ravens? I don't think so and earlier this season we beat both...so both will have a chip to play harder. I don't want anyone picking the Jags, I want the players to feel like the underdog. It seems to me whenever people think we should win a game and act like we should, we lay an egg. The only exception would be the Texans game.
What a great season...so exciting.
To win this game our dline has to dominate their oline. They have 2 rookies on their oline and outside of the center their oline isn't a strength especially with Slater out and there is weak spots we can exploit. If our dline can dominate their oline and our offensive tackles Little and Taylor have a good game we will win. We need to run the football in this game as well, Etienne should have a big game
Chargers looked really good against the Broncos defense on that first drive. They carved them up like butter. And the Broncos are suppose to have a good defense.
Bet Doug is watching this game. All his coaches too.

Baker Mayfield and the Rams carver Denvers D up.
Yeah...and if ETN is healthy...Jags better be able to run against their defense. Jag v Chargers may end up being a shootout.
The Bolts have gotten progressively better the last month or so but I still think we can beat them. Key will be to get pressure on Herbert and win the battle in the trenches.
