This isn't going to be a team spending on free agency upgrades next year, so any help will be coming from the draft.
With that said the focus needs to be on drafting ability, not positions.
Hopefully need and ability meet, but there's no guarantee they will.

Batch is on IR he will be back next year.
We need a more reliable Nickle and maybe some more rotation on the IDal as I think we won't be signing some of the big guys

Center (although Fortner may get better, he's a rookie)
Nickel (if they leave Williams outside)
IDL - they have decent run stuffers in the middle, need a pocket disruptor/pass rusher in there
LT - not gonna happen till 2024 at the earliest because of contract, but Cam's been bad in as many games as he's been good
TE - Engram is great, but he's not under contract so it's a question mark and they need a guy to inline block that can also threaten in the pass game in addition to Engram
LG - We may be fine with Bartch when he's back, but I'd look for competition

Lots of areas need one or two more upgrades. Cap is gonna play havoc in the off season. They need to start thinking what’s it’s gonna cost to keep Trevor here for a long time as well. Lots of moving parts…

It looks perfect to me. If Torrence is there when we pick he will be BPA imo. The 2nd round I think one of the really good corners will be there and there will be a number of them. The draft looks good imo for our weaker areas and around where we will be picking. If Torrence is gone Phillips or Weatherspoon will likely be there or even Mayer, all needs and could be BPA

I think Little is our LT of the future. He is just as good as Cam imo. We can cut Cam after next year but then we will need a RT in next year's draft. I could also see us taking a tackle this year if a guy like Paris Johnson or Broderick Jones is there when we pick and could play him at LG year one and move him to tackle next year.

Interior upgrades on both sides. Nickel CB. A 6'5 monster at WR. A back breaking TE.

Little we be our RT next year unless Johnson or Jones is there when we pick and Baalke is high on him imo.

I agree with this. Unless Robinson has a very good 2023-24 season, he won't be worth his salary the following season. Little appears to have the skills to play left tackle. Hopefully he will keep improving so this move can be made. Doubt Paris Johnson will be an option, but Broderick Jones would be ideal in round 1. Other possibilities would be Anton Harrison or Andrew Vorhees in round 2.

I agree with Seldom. I don't think we'll spend much on free agency. In fact, I think we'll have a couple of painful free agency losses this offseason.
I am NOT a huge fan of Bartch. I think he's more suited to be a backup. He can be upgraded

If there wasn't a cap, sure you can complain about them and they can do something about it. With the cap, you have to live with them being average and scheme around not having the QB hold the ball.
You can't scheme around your DL and CBs sucking because you soent all your money on the OL.

All we need is a nickel in the secondary. Shouldn't be that difficult to draft one.
The IDL is tougher to land, but it won't keep you from at least adding quality competition to LG in my opinion.
And I will probably complain until the cows come home about protection, LOL.
I want that kid to have a pocket and time to work.

I think the only guys who will be new starters next year will be the Nickel and RT, everyone else will be back IMO. We need a slot corner, true, but we have a couple guys we drafted last year that will be in camp plus a veteran one wouldn't be too expensive if we go the FA route there. We're drafting big bodies this year. We need to get another offensive guard and tackle since Taylor is all but gone and Shatley and Bartch are both up after next year. The defensive line will need a few more bodies too since Smoot won't be here and we still need interior help. I like the idea of playing mostly 43, we seem to have the right bodies for that if Walker stays at DE along with Hamilton and Fatukasi at DT.
