They should let Jimmy go and roll with Lance and Purdy. This is just more proof that you can plug any QB into that system and they'll be successful. No need to overpay for Jimmy.

Yeah plenty of QB needy teams, someone will take a chance on Jimmy G. Lance has been so unlucky with injuries but Purdy is doing pretty damn well right now, wouldn't be surprised if they made him the starter next year. Like you say, it's Shanahan and his genius system that's the main thing at work.

They look the best team in the NFC and maybe the NFL right now. So good on both sides of the ball. Think they've won 10 in a row and doing it with a 3rd string QB. Only Philly look close to them but don't see them beating them.
San Fran is always there at the end. Going to be a 49ers at Eagles NFC Championship most likely, but I don't know if they can beat KC at full strength (or CIN?).
Is Purdy really this much of a steal? Just he is good in this system? Or is he playing out of his [BLEEP]? I think its more a bit of both of the second and third options.
