I hope you are right about Ridley.

If he's at the top of his game and can replicate his pre suspension level of play, then yes, he adds another dimension to the offense.

If he's showing signs of rust, it shouldn't be a total shock considering he's been out for 2 years.

But one good thing about this season...we have a veteran locker room now.  The players have the gravitas to be a positive influence on any rookie or free agent we bring to the team.

Apparently he's been taking really good care of his body. Training camp and preseason should be enough time to knock the rust off.
Really hard to say anything negative about the overall season. The Jaguars persevered and Pederson built a winning culture after the franchise hit bottom under Meyer. The team definitely needs to improve the pass rush and solidify the offensive line during the off-season. Would have loved to see how things would have transpired if Agnew didn't fumble, but that's football and without his returns the team likely wouldn't have been in the position they were. I expect this team to go even further next season despite having a difficult schedule.
Mahomes injury not withstanding, I think this team greatly exceeded expectations. I think we've got , "Our guy" who has a chance to become "the guy." I think this team developed and identity and a confidence that should make the favorites for a long time.
Great season. And specifically an amazing run to finish the year. I've said something similar to this a few times the last couple weeks but just think back 6-7 weeks ago we were at halftime of the Lions game getting blown out and having just watched Lawrence writing in pain as he got bent backwards grabbing his knee and ankle. If you had told me at halftime of that Lions game I would be sitting here right now writing a message on this board talking about what a great season this was after losing a one score game at Kansas City in the second round of the playoffs, I wouldn't have believed that for one second. After that awful looking sack magically Lawrence came back and played the rest of the game. Sure we lost that Lions game, but we didnt lose again until today. To think back where we were at that moment to where we are now, it's not even believable. Such an amazing run. And so much to looking forward to going into next year.
Now we can finally talk about the Draft and Free Agency. And the draft is only 3 months away instead of the usual 6 months
I appreciate everyone on this board. So fun to experience this season with true jags fans.

I’m so sad, not going to lie. But at the same time, I’ve never been more optimistic about the team’s longterm future.
It’s surreal. Shouldn’t be over it feels like but it is. I’m not ready for football to be over for the jags this year.

But we fought and had a great year. Here’s to next season. September can’t come soon enough
When we lost in 2017, it seemed like it was not sustainable. This year, it seems like we are just getting started
Outstanding season

That's my main disappointment at the moment, I'm not ready for that to be the last game of the season. I've loved watching the team this year and just want a game next week, against anyone.

At least we made it to nearly February before draft and FA talk can begin.

I just wanna watch them one more time.

These last 7 weeks have been incredible.

So true man. Just so many great memories. The Ravens game, Cowboys pick 6 for the win, sweeping the tacks, the greatest comeback in Jags history against the Chargers, its just been magical and so great to see this fanbase get its voice back

Just one more game...
What a ride this season was. So proud of these guys. Three big things. We got Doug Pederson, Trevor Lawrence has matured. And the culture has been installed.

We have one

I like talking draft and free agency as much as the next guy...but not really when the season is still underway...especially if the Jaguars are in the post season.

Given the choice, I'd rather the Jaguars continue to win and advance in the postseason than go full blast into draft talk.

I have heard those reports, but I've heard the well worn wisdom that distinguishes being in shape vs. being in football shape.  Besides I've seen those clips of him faking those guys out.  Have no idea who those guys are, when the video was taken, etc.

I'm hoping like hell his transition to the Jaguars will be without a hitch.  But my instincts tell me to guard against any difficulty by adding a speed WR relatively high in the draft.
As long as Ridley doesn't report to camp looking like Justin Blackmon, I'll be optimistic

I'm on board with adding another reciever high in the draft. Zay is upgradeable as our second outside guy opposite ridley and if we have to pay ridley we will be cutting jones so we could dedinitley use an impact reciever on a rookie deal.
