I think we were all wishing Jeff Saturday would coach there next year, oh well, they got someone competent. Steichen did great with Jalen Hurts last year, but no one thinks Matty Ice is that level of talent. What do you think?
We’ll see. Has he ever been a head coach at any level? These super young offensive coordinator turned head coaches all started with Sean McVey. I’m seeing diminishing returns, especially when they’re away from the coattails they rode.
They still have no answer at QB. Steichen and Jim Bob are (potentially) good hires, but without that QB it doesn't matter. And I'm not sold on any of these draft guys. I could see them trying the vet approach again with Carr or Baker. I saw a mock of them trading up to #1 to get Richardson which would be glorious but we won't get that lucky.
