You realize that tweet is from a year ago right? And all I see is that Brown played himself like an idiot if he turned down that deal LOL. It's obvious KC didn't want him anymore because he isn't that good. They just used the 2nd year to confirm that they dodged a bullet.

About 8 or 9 months ago. He was just as good or better this year as he was last year and the year before.  Do you have any proof they didn't want him or are you just pulling [BLEEP] out of your [BLEEP] and throwing [BLEEP] on the wall hoping it sticks?  I think it was clear that he wanted out for whatever reason.   He was a huge part of turning that oline around, going from one of the worst to one of the best these last 2 years.  All Chiefs fans were butt hurt because he didn't want to be there and they largely over paid for Taylor. Your posts are comical. They have also went back a good bit in the run game going from Brown to Taylor unless he improves dramatically. Taylor sucks at run blocking

He likely thought he was worth more than he really is and reality hit him in FA. Seeing what Taylor got and what Brown got in FA, the Chiefs could have easily kept him if they wanted to. Brown tweeted out he's forever grateful to KC.

You likely wont see much of a decline in OL play by them swapping Taylor in and Brown out. Mahomes makes them all better than they are. Brown isn't great by any means. Solid player but replaceable. There's a reason why hes going to his 3rd team in 5 years.

Would not be opposed to bringing Lenny back on a super cheap contract.. don't think he'd be too bad as a backup for ETN or god forbid if ETN got hurt again.

Yup he surely didn't want to be apart of a team that has been to 5 straight Conference Championship games and 3 of the last 5 Super Bowls. He surely wanted to get away from that Franchise and take less money in the process as well. Surely.

It's definitely odd.  I'm sure he could of went somewhere else and made more money.  For most it's all about money but there are still a few out there where that isn't the only thing. It will be interesting to see how he and Taylor does this year. The Chiefs aren't perfect and make bad mistakes at times as well.
