I'll go on record saying now, that, the safest bets from Georgia's available class this year draft wise is Kenny McIntosh on offense and offers any team versatility. I see him as a poor man's Josh Jacobs in the NFL. Would be a viable option in RD4 or later for most teams. Darnell Washington at the minimum is a solid blocker at the next level and if he tests off the charts he can be a red zone threat on the proper offense.
I would say defensively the safest bet is Jalen Carter, even with everything looming over his head, followed by Chris Smith at safety. I would be very, very optimistic selecting any of Georgia's linebackers this year as well as Kelee Ringo at CB.

Not a concern to me there neither. Again, probably came in light from having flu like symptoms all week. It just blows my mind, and I am not saying you in particular, but, it just blows my mind that people are hyped up on Nolan Smith because of his 40 time.
He's also very, very light for a linebacker. Also, that speed never showed up at Georgia as he only put up a poultry 9 career sacks around a loaded defense over the last four years. A back to back Championship team at that. He's fast, that's great. He's also too light and can't stay healthy.
He's going to get swallowed up by lineman in the NFL. I hope we don't draft him. This is coming from, again, a Bulldogs fan. Just don't see the allure there with him.
I think he came in a little heavier than expected. Before the draft everthing i seen had him at 235. I just like me guys on the line heavier than that. I wouldnt draft Smith at 24 and I think he willl be too light for Baalke's liking. Foskey is the one guy I could see us taking and id be good with it, he answered a lot of questions for me yesterday. Good size, great athlete, and very good production multiple years

I think Washington is going to be one of the best blocking TEs in the league. I could see him having a similar career to Lewis. Would love to get Smith though.
I'll say this too. It's a shame we're invested heavily at LB between Lloyd, Muma and Oluokon because Iowa's Jack Campbell looks like he could be a pretty solid starter in the NFL. The 4.6 40 doesn't scare me as I know he'll make up for it with solid presnap play recognition but he's going to be a pretty good starter for most defenses.
Tuli Tuipulotu came in way smaller than i expected. Only 266, everything I read was around 290. Hard pass for me in the first couple rounds. Hes not atletic enough to be a OLB for us and too small to be a 3-4 end.

I have to believe Kancey helped himself this week. Some teams may shy away from him due to his short arms, but the speed he showed will likely enable him to be drafted somewhere in round 1. He actually measured slightly taller (6'1") than many expected. I doubt Baalke will take him due to his size, but all it takes is one G.M. to pull the trigger.

He's got a little bit of Chris Hovan to him. Just a little bit lighter but much faster coming out of college than Hovan. His comparison on the NFL website is to John Randle. Listen, if that kid turns into anything as HALF as good as John Randle? I would pull the trigger on him.
My concern though is how does that fit with our defense? Short guys like that need a big body next to them in a 4 - 3 to really get around their opponents. That would be my biggest concern with him if I was in Baalke's shoes. Can he handle blocks at this level?

Just caught Riley Moss and Kelee Ringo in the back pedaling and turn drills. Kelee is really stiff in his hips man. Riley was pretty damn smooth.

The thing that I dislike about the 40 at the combine is that all of the participants start in a sprinter’s stance. How does that relate to football?

Trevon Walker would be better at IDL in a 3-4. Imagine Kancey's speed next to Walker's power. I still doubt Kancey will be available, and if he is Baalke will likely pass. That would be a big mistake since a defensive line of Allen, Walker, Kancey and either Lloyd, Smoot or Robertson-Harris would be incredible on passing downs.
Still carzy to me dude ran a 4.49 at 282 lbs. I wonder if that has ever been done? I might take a chance on him in the mid rounds. That has been the most impressive thing to me so far
TEs today. There are a number of things I want to see today from some different guys but Mayer and Hyatts 40 times are what intrigue me the most today. If Mayer can run under a 4.7 he's locked in as my top TE and I'm curious to see if Hyatt can run under a 4.3?

Yeah, Washington is a dominant blocker and he tested much better than I thought he would. If Georgia didn't have one of the best TEs of the last decade Washington would of put up better numbers. With how good Doug is at using his TE I could see Washington in this offense being a monster and future All Pro. He's also that huge redzone target we are missing. I think he passed Mayer for me although I still really like Mayer. Washington would be very scary in this offense and I think us drafting him is likely if he's there at 24
