Welp. The day in DC has finally arrived.

Dan Snyder has sold the Commanders for 6 billion. A group led by Josh Harris (76ers owner) has bought the team.

I live in Maryland and I know so many people who haven't been to a game in over 8 years because of Snyder. Big day here.

Nice.
Happy for the die hard fans of that team.
Will be good for the league in general as well.
A lot of money lol
Turn em back into The Redskins!

Anything but the Commanders. I can't help but think that was Dan Snyder's last middle finger to the world because he knew he'd sell the team one day soon. I thought the Guardians would occupy the Hall of Lame Names alone. Now there's two.

100%

I guess they wouldn’t change the name yet again even though there are new owners.

I always gravitated to the name 'Washington Monuments', which is equally lame, but at least it's geographically and historically representative. Plus, 'Washington Lobbyists' just doesn't pop.
I still don’t see how they wanted the Redskins’ name changed but not the Chiefs.
Dan Synder sure came out of that mess smelling like a rose...........
"Pack your stuff, and go, you little twerp. Get to steppin’. Hang out in England or wherever you want to go and go bother somebody else, you little twerp. Get gone, smell ya later, thanks for nothing." – Danny Rouhier chucking Dan Snyder out the door

Really? One is literally talking about the color of a group of people’s skin while the other is referring to a title.

I call my boss “chief” sometimes. I wouldn’t dare call a Native American a “Redskin”.

I’m not part of the woke mob by any means but this one doesn’t take a leftist libtard to understand.

Maybe I’m just being whooshed but that’s how I see it.
Refrain from the politics please.

The Washington Scandal is and always will be the correct answer.

Scandal is good but how about Grifters or Good Ol’ Boys?
Washington Warriors would have been a nice alternative, although I have nothing against the Redskins name.
