I championed the Kirk signing and the Z Jones signing. I defended the Kirk contract in thread after thread. I made a montage of screenshots showing how consistently open Zay was on his routes w/ raiders despite lots of errant throws from Carr and posted it here for the haters.
I thought Engram was a good move but warned everyone he'd have some drops. He had fewer than I predicted.
I'll own that.
Also - abbreviating the f-bomb is a violation of CoC. Consider this a friendly warning.
Hell, I could be wrong but I don’t recall making ANY comments about the FA signings last year. And I rarely comment on the draft because I don’t follow college closely enough to pretend that I know about the players. I just thought and still think the Bigsby pick could have been better spent on another position.

The ILB one really had me scratching my head. We have Foye, Lloyd and Muma and Foye is arguably one of the best players at the position in the league. I can understand Tank/Strange because behind ETN and Engram we have nothing and they both will play, but the LB was just odd to me.

I wondered about that myself but I could imagine a situation where Walker moves to the line full time and Josh Allen leaves in FA next year. I think there may be some lingering questions on the coaching staff whether Lloyd has what it takes to play at this level from the eyebrows up. Not really sure if any of those things are true but in that context it would make sense.

Definitely don't rope me in on the Kirk part. I think I was the biggest fan (or maybe you) of the Kirk signing. I thought Kirk hadn't reached his ceiling yet (true), would be a great vertical slot (true) and be the Jags #1 receiver all year (true).
However, definitely missed on Zay!
The point is that every single person who is involved with football, whether thats a fan or a GM, misses on players.

Dude I came in here back then and could count on my hand how many where on here fighting the masses because they believed in the Jaguars to get shouted down by the rest of the fandom plus me. There was no moderator who backed any of it . Now it just me projecting my issues....naw brah it's accountability....even before the Chargers play off game my girl undressed me about me being a crappy fan of the team .... I even quoted what she said in here.... When they started winning she was like oohhhhh now they your team.....Riiiiiight...... All I'm saying 90% of us wasn't rocking with their decisions and after Last year they own the RIght to build the team as they see fit.

This is a place where we come to discuss, debate, question or celebrate every little thing this team does.
So, no one is going to "let them build the team" without throwing around our opinions on it.
If you want to hold folks accountable for their bad takes from last offseason, that is fair game.
Use the search features and quote them.

I am on record opposing the ETN pick because I have a philosophy to the draft. I still would not have made that pick.
