Her statement had the tone of not caring whether others considered it proper or not.  I thought it would be good to let her know that what she wants to do is proper anyways.  Give her a little extra ease of mind.

Right, you look up Wikipedia for the 1976 Olympics, the decathlon winner is listed as "Caitlin Jenner (as Bruce Jenner)".  That's wrong, yet another example of Wikipedia chasing away any editor who is not hard-left socially.  It should read "Bruce Jenner" but then the link would go to a page called "Caitlin Jenner."  Minor point, but an example of a larger problem.
