If Brandon is resigned, then don't make him do so many long kicks unless otherwise. Riley on the other hand, would have P Logan Cooke handle the kickoffs again.

Cooke did not handle kick offs during Riley's last season in Jax - nor should he have to do so.
It shouldn't be difficult to find a kicker than can kick touchbacks into the wind and also make an acceptable percentage of FGs from inside 50yds.
It's fine if they want to have him in camp - but if he can't reach the end zone on kick-offs - no thanks.
It's the NFL. Gotta be able to control whether a kick-off is returnable or not.

So the preference is to punt a moon ball straight up into the air from the 35 rather than attempt a 50-yard FG? I'll take 50% chance at points over giving the ball away with nothing to show for it.
