Good to see Jax as a city being mentioned for possibly hosting it in the future.

 

I still think it's silly to give it to them when they don't have a 1st round pick. Seeing the hometown fans' reactions to their round 1 pick is one of the joys of the drafts.

I was surprised Jacksonville is a candidate the first time I read that.

 

LOL For all we know the Eagles might trade for a "makeup" first round pick.

LOL Because people have opinions and make up hypotheticals every day - including stupid ideas. It does not hurt to ask.

 

From the article it appears the NFL favors moving the draft around. Gone are the days when one city was guaranteed to host the draft every year.

Smart move by the NFL. This will get more casual fans into the draft as it goes from city to city.

 

I'm from NJ and went to the draft 5-6 years in a row at one point when it was in NYC. Great experience.

Good news for the city of Philadelphia: After it was confirmed to be the draft host in 2017, the Eagles got a first-round pick.
