What do you think of this?

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Ceiling: 11-5. QB Blake Bortles limits his costly turnovers, while the coaching staff leans more on its running backs (Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon) and defense (which looks to be stronger on paper) than at any time in the Gus Bradley era. While we're high on the Jaguars, we're not going higher than 11-5.

Floor: 4-12. Huge pendulum swing here, mostly because history tells us 4-12 is normal in Jacksonville. The Allen Brothers would slump drastically in this outcome, with tight end Julius Thomasadding little. Ditto new safety Tashaun Gipson on defense. But none of this is likely with the Jags' schedule.

Seems fair considering the results the past few years.

I think this team will be in the 8-8/9-7 range. We catch a few breaks and that can go up to 10 wins.

"Better" would be an edit to the original post, but as it is you barely escaped The Wrath of Mod.

No, I'm not being coy, merely predicting consistency, be it good or bad.

Phew! A whisker away from having my account ruined.

Last year consistency was between good and bad. We went from not doing the job to not finishing it. Hopefully this year we will finish the job.

We are going 6-10

We should win more than six games.

We should have a better head coach by now too but here we are trotting out Gus again.

This team is a lot more talented than 6-10 but I have little confidence in our coaching based on the previous results.

I'm optimistic but 6-10 is certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
