He looked and spoke almost exactly like my grandpa. Gramps is getting up there too. Good thing I've got plans to visit him this year.
I’ve heard his name mentioned a couple of times on national broadcasts. Locally, he was the go-to guy during hurricane season. RIP George.

I used to work with his granddaughter.. She was pretty cool too.
I grew up watching him on TV. He was an institution.
