I’m not saying he will take Etienne’s spot, but I think we could have a Stewart/Williams or Taylor/Jones-Drew type backfield this year.

Bigsby wowing the crowd with them cuts. He’s bringing gas. I didn’t like the pick at first, but I can see why they drafted him. He’s got some Shady McCoy in him with them cuts and he can get up outta there quick.
Jags have options in the backfield now.
ETN can be used as intended and fresh legs with talent can spell him this year.

No knock on Hasty, but early reports on Bigsby and Johnson seem to be setting JH up to be 4th on the depth chart.

Doug Pederson loves to focus on different players from week to week when he sees matchup issues on an opposing roster.
This could mean some big opportunities for Bigsby.
I'd still use the draft capital spent on him differently, but I'm also really glad we so many ways to move the ball offensively this year.
Again, this shows how to acquire running backs because the difference between a 1st and 3rd round pick isn't enough to warrant the expense of a 1.

Pederson has always gone with the 'hot hand' in games.  We just had no other real option last year.
This offense should be a PROBLEM.
I really like our RB room. We have added lots of youth and depth to the group. You
I think (and hope) we are going to go into the fourth quarter this year with a lead more often, and that will call for pounding the ball with our running backs. Much as I love Etienne, we can't have just one guy doing that. If we have a 10-point lead with 8 minutes left, I don't want to have to chuck the ball all over the field to get first downs, and I don't want to rely on our defense to hold that lead. Hence- Tank Bigsby.
