OK, I know most people don't want to watch this one, but with the second round of cuts coming a few days later we should all have some level of interest in what our players do. Kickoff is at 7:00 ET on Thursday.
What do you want to see from our backups and and guys on the roster bubble? Will you pay attention to any specific players who probably will survive the roster cuts?
All discussion about the Falcons game will wait until Amelia posts the *** official *** game thread.
I dedicate this game to Harambe. RIP.
I feel it's an important game because it will determine a lot of the teams depth.
I'll mostly be watching...
- Allen
- Thompson vs Wilson
- Holmes (thinking the Jags may try to PS him but could end up losing him if so)
- How well the TE's block
- Can Gratz cover well enough to "earn" a roster spot?? Same can be said of Evans

It is not too early to have pre-game discussions, such as what coaches say their plans are for each player's time on the field. The "too early" stuff is using the subject title "Game Night Thread" before the day of that game begins.

If we don't keep Henne, who will back up Bortles?

Allen will be fine, if the backup has to play this is a two win team.
I believe Henne will be a Jag for as long as he wants to be a Jag
I think we should extend Henne to a 10-year, 200 million dollar contract.

Getting all pro legend ham neck henne at that price would be a steal.

Because many starters are not playing?
I expect 100 penalties this game and to be 5 hours long.
Personally speaking, I'm kind of hoping Jordy Nelson is slow coming back from injury, Cobb is still a little overweight, and Lacy binges on Bono's before the game.

Uh, we are not talking about the Packers game here . . .

The rest of us agree that we will not discuss the Falcons game until the *** official *** thread is posted.
