One of our most consistent players, what a steal
Certainly the best Jaguar player since Brunell retired.
Jimmy Smith, Tony Boselli, Mark Brunell, Fred Taylor and Logan Cooke.
Adding name to the Ring of Honor will help all fans remember this era of Jaguars football.

We've come a long way since Matt Turk.

Matt Turk was a fall guy for a bad FO. He was a boomer punter and told the team that’s all he did but they signed him anyway and then expected him to be a placement punter.

He’s one of the better punters in the league.

Yeah you mentioned this last time I mentioned his name IIRC. I just remember the game where he was getting boo'd for a couple of lousy punts and he started egging the crowd on to boo louder. They were lousy because he was trying to place them as he was told and it just wasn't in his skillset. It's just a funny moment during a long sustained period of poor play all around for this team. I know Turk had a good career, but his brief time here was comically bad for the reason you state. We may now be in the best period of punt performance this team has ever seen. It's held up only as a means of contrast.
