OK ..... Let's face it ---- the heat was brutal and so were the Jags.
I actually found myself watching the stinking 2nd half of the game at Daily's Place where is was ~ 33% full (~1,500 people). Couple that with all of the people in the air conditioned club zones and the open air covered Bud Zone and you probably have the stands representing 70% of the true attendance.
I know the SHADE is forthcoming but after watching the highlights from the Miami game in which the angles of the shade were moving in conjunction with the angle of the sun, I've come to realize that the Home side won't be protected in the 1st half and the Visitors side of the stadium will not be protected for 2nd half. This is especially true for those that have lower level seats closer to the field. Luckily, this usually only applies to a few games out of the year, but it would be nice if there was a way to accommodate a bigger area with shade as the temp and airflow in Daily's was really comfortable.
Anyone else find themselves taking shelter during this or the KC game? This one was probably more evident due to the blowout.
