A tropical depression near Tampa is forcing the last preseason game for both teams to be played a day earlier than scheduled.

The Jags may need to fly out a day early as well so as to not get caught in the weather.

Did someone officially report that?

Yeah knarnn officially said it.
Bucs game will probably be televised for most of the US then? Wednesday night with no other games...

Probably on NFLN.

The rare Wed night game, even if it is preseason.

Has there ever been a Wednesday night preseason game before?

  Absolutely.

San Francisco and San Diego played on a Wednesday Night in the pre-season a few years back.    There have been other Wed. Night pre-season games in the final week of the pre-season but off the top of my head can't recall the teams.   For some reason,  Dallas is coming to mind as one of the teams.
Meh...  the 4th week of preseason is pretty boring anyway.

Not for Redskins and Buccaneers fans, obviously.

I'm not so sure about that.

It is because now they get to watch their favorite teams play without the distraction of 15 other games being played at the same time.

The "games" are going to be played mostly by players that either won't make the final roster cut, or will be backups/practice squad players.

Other than seeing the competition for roster spots at the bottom of the roster and one or two higher depth chart battles,  the final pre-season game is the most boring football game on this end that my favorite team plays all year.   It's difficult for me to watch any other pre-season game in the final week of the pre-season.   This is coming from someone who gets great enjoyment out of watching NFL games,  regardless of the teams in most of the regular season.
How many teams do you watch D6?

In the regular season I watch at least 4 games per week.    I obviously watch all of the Lions games,  as many other NFC North games as feasible, top caliber teams matched up against each other,  the Jaguars often,  and future opponents of the Lions.

For me I used to watch whatever games were available in my market.  NFL Redzone has me spoiled though.

I'm in the minority in that I rarely watch NFL Redzone.  I focus on one game and the  try to catch up with the happenings around the NFL later on.   NFL Redzone is a great service for those that like to keep up with many games at once and for Fantasy Football players.   I gave up FF several years ago,  hence the appeal for me regarding NFL Redzone has lessened considerably.     The NFL deserves plenty of credit for creating various market niches for their products.   A person can watch a game ( s ) for entirely different reasons than another person.
I never tried the Red Zone. I used to have a TV with the picture-in-picture feature to watch two games at once and flipped between them with a button on my remote. There is no such button on Cox remotes, unfortunately.

I watch the Redzone on game day in live action.  Games that interest me I watch later, usually while I'm posting here on the MB.  I do FF in a "fun league" with my nephew, brother-in-law and a few others.  It's fun because we are all fans of different teams both in the AFC and the NFC.
