The Chilling Number of Illegals With Ties to Terrorists

Approximately 75,000 illegal immigrants were flagged by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for potentially having ties to terrorism or being a threat to national security.

The data, which was compiled by The Daily Caller, paints a disturbing picture of what’s happening at the southern border under Joe Biden. These illegals were flagged in just 10 months leading up to August 2023.

Every country on the planet with relatively open borders that isn't dealing with war, genocide, famine etc has an immigration problem.
We are an overpopulated planet and people are desperate to flee bad situations for better ones. 
Spreading a bunch of totally baseless fear smut about the immigrants does NOTHING to fix the problem. 

We need a better immigration policy and system for dealing with these people (most of whom just seek a better life for their families) but trying to convince everyone they are BAD is just totally [BLEEP] stupid.

We're all [BLEEP] immigrants or ancestors of them. That's how we got here. You know better than most. 

Disingenuously painting all these people trying to do better in a negative light like this garbage article serves no purpose but to muster up fear amongst the gullible. 

We need to be working out the problem at a more root level than just overreacting to the potential number of criminals amongst the influx happening in places like the USA, Germany, The Netherlands, the UK and many other places.  

Ultimately - we will end up making it harder to immigrate here. That is inevitable.We know it will happen, we don't have a choice.  Many places have already done this and it is part of the reason our numbers have increased. (And, yes I know they don't all speak Spanish for [BLEEP] sake. This is a global concern. The country they enter through doesn't mean a thing - it's just an accessible border)

The problem with just sealing up borders and tightening our entry numbers is that we'll be doing what others have done to us. Just sending the problem somewhere else. This also has to be a concern. 

We can't sweep the dust under the rug forever. 

With all of the overcrowding, landless refugees, and immigration problems  -  we have half of Washington DC trying to make abortions illegal and end birth control. 
So stupid.

I am not going to sit here and say that all "immigrants are bad people".  However, there are a significant number of them that are.

Evidently you have never encountered the illegal aliens coming into the country.  I have.  Back when I worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Bernalillo County, NM. we used to get them all the time.  Back then it was mostly just gang members (MS-13 and others).  They used to mock me as I was taking them to jail saying "I'll be back on the next train coming here".  They did.  Some of them went on to commit very violent crimes.

Currently there are a bunch of numbers of military aged males (that actually identify as male) entering the country from places like China and Iran.  To think that individuals like that are "just looking for a better way of life" is very naive.  They are most likely either spies or mean some type of harm.

Your boy Biden even committed to building more border wall this week.  If these "harmless immigrants" are just "looking for a better life" then why put up the wall?

You shouldn't even entertain that rabbit trail. He knows (or should know) conservatives don't think all immigrants are bad people. No one is objecting to legal immigration. People are up-in-arms about the Democrats reckless disregard for our laws and a serious lack of concern for the wellbeing of Americans. Open borders is stupid, and people that advocate for it are simpletons. NYC didn't address any of the points in the article, which makes me think he didn't even read it. They reduced the number of legal slots.  That's at least a partial objection.

A lot of illegals are actually the good people of their country and that's why they want out of their native land. That said, I think when you mix in poverty and having to hide, work for cash, etc., there are a lot of elements that result in illegals turning to crime to survive or get ahead. This is similar to what we currently see with US citizens in the inner cities.

Bingo. My wife and her family did this very thing in fleeing the military coup in Peru in the early 70's. Her father was a high ranking accountant for the government, and she was a medical student.  The military shut down schools/universities, and fired/disappeared members of government not sympathetic to the military regime.  They did bottom level jobs here for years until my wife finished college and was able to support the family. Her dad got a lower level job here as a bookkeeper.  Immigrants can survive and thrive here if they persist, probably even more so today than back in the 70's.
