What's with you wanting to sit players and lose games....and be ok with losing games...are you serious right now... someone doesn't watch a lot of football and understands every game counts....we have 10 days of rest going into Pittsburgh...dude were 5-2 in the mix with the best teams in the AFC...you go into the bye with a five game winning streak and then rest....what a stupid comment

Jag management handed out white styrofoam tubes, about 3 feet long, before the game , to counteract the Steeler fans’ Terrible Towels. We shut them out 9-0  and the Jag fans all took their white tubes and formed them into “ zeroes “ , on national tv, at the end of the game.

I remember that. The camera was showing the fans and then had to quickly pan away when one wag formed two into the shape of a vajayjay around his face while flicking his tongue.

Lol you can still find that video online... classic

Who said I want to intentionally sit players and lose?  Sounds like you're still bitter about something from weeks ago.  Let it go and move on bub.  wHaT a StUpId CoMmEnT.
Yep, let’s go jags!
I think Trevor has a big game this week.
Shout out to Rashean Mathis when he picked off Maddox for a TD in overtime to give the Jaguars the win in 2005.

The following year in 2006 Mathis got another pick in the 9-0 Jaguars win. Mathis also had a season high 4 PD.

2007 playoffs against Pittsburgh, he had 2 picks and 1 TD.

2008 vs Pittsburgh, Mathis had 1 int and 1 TD (72 yards).

Dude was a stud against Pittsburgh

That was a classic.  Freezing cold Saturday night, MJD running back a kickoff to the 2 yard line, Garrard making the key 4th down play, and Big Ben failing to convert on his 4th down bootleg run.

I think this was the game that ended the Maddox era in Pittsburgh.

Ended too soon for my tastes.

Not really.  But it helps to be realistic.  You think this team is done losing for the season?
This indeed may be one we drop.

Steelers get after the quarterback well. Our saving grace is the Pittsburgh offense is average
we just need to play defense like we have been and we have a chance, they don't have any talent at skill outside of pickens, and there QB isn't mobile. but we need our OL to stand up like they did last week, give trevor time so we can hit the crossers and make mistake free football.

there LBs are not that good we can take advance of Kirk and Ridley from the slot.

You won me over, we should just forfeit this one.  No need to make the trip, rest everyone.
I think we beat the squealers by 10 points

I think it’s a small margin. They are the scrappy team who plays you down to the wire and finds ways to score points no matter what facet.

Rams barely moved the ball on them with Puka and Kupp
You could argue that the Steelers only have one quality win, against the Ravens, and that one was more about the Ravens sucking than the Steelers shining. I think we beat them by 2 scores.
This is a game we should try to run the football down their throats. Pitt. is 28th in run D and on top of that they have arguably the best pass rushing duo in the league and no Cam Heyward. Would be a perfect game to let the Tank have his breakout game.
Pittsburgh is interesting. It's really Pickens as their primary receiving threat by miles. He's over 500 yards on the year with everybody else around 150 or less.

Double Pickens. Stack the box for Harris. Get after Pickett. That's all there is to it.

Defensively? It starts with Watt and Highsmith. They have to be accounted for when attempting any passes really. I agree with trying to run it on them.

I don't know about winning by two scores but I would be happy if they won by 1, 3, 6, 7 or more. Tough atmosphere. Tough defense.

This is probably another slug fest similar to the Buffalo game in London. Should be fun. Lawrence is going to take some hits in this one though.

Diontae Johnson is back and he is their best WR.

Pickens and Diontae are a really good duo and the Jags will likely be without Campbell. Not a good start.

To be fair, Saints had Olave and Thomas plus Kamara underneath. We held steady most of the game.

Pickens only had 76 yards entering the 4th Q against the rams. Which is why I said early they’re a scrappy, weird team. They suck for three quarters then find the will to block a field goal, return a punt, throw an 80 yard bomb etc to win last minute.
