It's amazing. In a year where Kansas City looks human and suspect on offense. Teams, including ours, are really going to [BLEEP] around and find a way to lose homefield advantage in the post season.

The up and down in the AFC this year is staggering. It comes down to week 17 or a major injury over these next eight weeks. All of a sudden teams like Houston and Cleveland have chances at 3rd and 4th seeds or better.

With lesser talent on paper than these other teams. Including ours. What a year to be a football fan in general.

Bills are still jet lagged

...and they just fired their OC. Does that actually fix anything?

No, but it gives them another excuse.

depends on what the new guy changes and how long opponents take to figure out the change

It's not the OC. It's the QB.

He is a turnover machine.

This. McDermott is feeling the heat now. He calls the shots defensively and he'll now use Allen's historical tendency of being a turnover machine outweigh anything logical when everything goes wrong offensively.

They need to get back to running the football and having Allen use his natural strength and power as a runner to help mitigate that. It looks like Daboll was more important to that team than people realized and it looks like both parties were wrong in their evaluations.

Daboll is not ready to be a headcoach in the NFL. McDermott shows he cannot lead a team without a brilliant coordinator on offense. There window is gone after falling 5 - 5 in my opinion. That team will be looking to make some swift changes in the off season.
Watson done for the year. Surgery to repair broken bone in his throwing hand. Makes me a feel a "little" bit better about our match-up with them this year.

Yea, wish I could say I feel sorry for him but you know what they say about karma! The contract he received has to be the dumbest I have seen alongside Jimbo Fischer of Texas A&M. The Browns game will still not be easy due to their defense, but I like our chances much better with them starting a rookie.
Wow. Watson smh

Also has a high ankle sprain.  And the broken bone is in his shoulder. Ouch!

On Wednesday morning, the Browns announced that Watson would undergo season-ending surgery for a broken bone in his throwing shoulder.

"Deshaun Watson underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) Monday on two injuries sustained on different plays in the first half of Sunday's 33-31 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Imaging on his left ankle revealed a high-ankle sprain. In addition, postgame, Deshaun notified our medical staff of a new discomfort in his right shoulder that he felt after a hit in the first half. An MRI of his right shoulder revealed a displaced fracture to the glenoid. Despite performing at a high level and finishing the game, after consultation with Browns' Head Physician, James Voos, MD, and industry-leading shoulder specialist, Neal El-Attrache, MD, it has been determined that this injury will require immediate surgical repair to avoid further structural damage. Deshaun will be placed on season-ending injured reserve and a full recovery is expected for the start of the 2024 season."
The Ravens came to play.

Ah geez. I hope Andrews is ok. I hate seeing a player injured.
Baltimore plays good defense.

Yeah. Genuinely not looking forward to the Ravens game. Especially on Sunday Night. Could be another 49ers beatdown. Just on a national stage. ?

It hurts to watch those man.
Is Bengal's Mixon the same guy who played for us?
Bengals are able to move the ball. Burrow is quick. Handles pressure well. They have had a number of setbacks penalty wise. He got it done on that drive.

His line isn't perfect but they're figuring it out. Again. No excuses for our offense. Boys need to figure it out.
