Thank you for your service! And if you've never heard of this, you should check it out. ID.me is a website that lists discounts from all kinds of retailers (online and in-store) offered to active duty, retired and veteran service members as well as to first responder and teachers. Everything from sporting gear to tires to electronics.

We needed a new laptop and got a very nice one from Hewlett Packard for 50% off because I'm a veteran registered through ID.me and that laptop is far superior to the version you would get at Best Buy and similar stores.

The retailers are partnered with ID.me and the discounts can be on everything in the store or just on certain items, it really depends. You do have to send them proof of status whether it be your DD-214 or your active duty ID (I don't know the procedure for first responders and teachers) and you register with them. You'll get emails weekly with a list of retailers and their discounts.

Anyway, hopefully you find it useful!

The link is to their Veteran's Day specific info. Just to give you an idea.

I have an ID.me account but haven’t really used it for much. I need to look into that further.

Salute.
Thanks for all you did and do!

Same, I’ll have to check it out more closely.
Thanks to all active and retired military.
