Yea that was an ugly hit
Detroit got away with a little tug there on defense.

I mean at this moment, is there any real competition for the 49ers in the NFC the rest of the way?

Probably not, but anything could happen.
Lol

So the colors of the superbowl logo will once again line up with the teams playing.

Why do we watch this?

If it is so rigged then, why not bet a huge amount of money on that outcome?
Lions pull it out
hell of a game
Dude clearly held Nacua. No call.

Referees were [BLEEP] in the 4th.
Nacua set the rookie receivng record in a playoff game
Im calling it now: Green Bay vs Houston in the Superb Owl.

Lions got away with 2 or 3 obvious PIs
Dolphins and Cowboys need new QBs imo.

And Dolphins fired their last coach for saying it right?
Congrats to the city of Detroit for the Lions bringing them thier 1st playoff win since 1993. Barry Sanders was in his 3rd seaon, and IIRC, Wayne Fontes was the HC. Also had one of my favorite football names of all time on that roster, Mr Harry Colon. Well done, and long overdue.

No.

Lions will smoke TB or Philly. Then SF will smoke the Lions.
Really enjoying watching the news out here this morning.  Particularly the sports segments.   Banana

They don't even hide that it's rigged.

Yes individual performance matters in the gameplay.. but a flag here or there and hey there's your winner

Why can't we just ever figure [BLEEP] out like this?

I'll look forward to the day every thing is reviewable.  The door is currently left open for 3rd party human error, ineptitude or even outright corruption significantly influencing the outcome of the game.  The field of vision, opinion and biases of a 3rd party to the contest (refs) shouldn't dictate the outcome of the game, but we still see it happen multiple times a year with bad/questionable calls late in close contests. Technological constraints may not have given us a choice previously, but that isn't the issue any longer and hasn't been for some time.
