Best 5th rounder -LB Telvin Smith: played 5 seasons and was quickly named a team captain. Made a Pro Bowl. 587 combined tackles, 52 TFL, 7.5 Sacks, 9 int, 6 FR, 5 FF, and is tied with Aaron Beasley for the most returned touchdowns in team history.
Best 4th rounder - David Garrard: Finished with 106 total touchdowns, with 89 passing and 17 rushing. The 17 rushing TD still stands today as the franchise record for a QB. Made a Pro Bowl. Took the 2007 Jaguars to the playoffs and should’ve been the starter in the 2005 playoffs.
Best 3rd rounder - Yannick Ngakoue: played 4 seasons and finished with 37.5 sacks, 42 TFL 2 int and never registered less than 8 sacks in his 9 year career except last year where he posted 4 sacks with Chicago. In a Jaguars uniform he led the NFL in forced fumbles in 2017 and finished in Jacksonville with 14 forced fumbles.
Best 2nd rounder - Maurice Jones-Drew: Made 3 Pro Bowls and 1 All Pro. 2nd leading rusher in franchise history behind Fred Taylor. Jones-Drew is still the team’s all-time leader in touchdowns with 81. He finished his Jaguars career with 8,071 yards rushing, 2,873 yards receiving and 2,187 return yards.
