CRASH .... the recession. Every good or bad sequence of events does not begin and end at the beginning and end of each presidential term. In fact, many presidents benefit or are adversely impacted by what the prior president did during his term in office.
With inflation down to a manageable level and unemployment at a very acceptable level, I'd have to say those in charge, have done a remarkable job at balancing what could have been a severe recession.
OK ..OK .. OK.... regardless of the above, I'm a lot less concerned about the presidential election this time around than I was in 2016. I think both candidates have the + to balance their - so at this point, I'm probably 50/50 on policies but don't like one candidate more than I don't like the other candidate. With that in mind, I could see myself voting republican in 2028, but not this year. I think my voting record is ~ 2/3 Dems over Republicans .... as far as i can remember, it was Clinton, Bush, Obama, Romney, H Clinton, Biden.
I see math isn't your strong point.
Obviously your judgment is lacking a bunch as well if you voted for hillary and biden.
Also, if your boy Obama was doing so well, why vote for the rino Romney?
I voted 2/3 of the time Dems over Republicans ---> 4 Dems and 2 Republicans I voted for. I'm not certain why you are contesting my math, to which I actually got a 640 score on my math SAT back in the day.....
I could say the same about people voting for Trump ..... duh, but some like to waste the day away debating about Trump & Biden, but I tend to be a little more productive with my time. Although, I'm still guilty to a certain extent.
Regarding Obama, that was a tough one but I was working a Mayport NS and he was taking measures that could cut 600,000 Defense jobs so that was a really high priority for me at that time. If left anyway for a much better job so it was a blessing in disguise. I do like Romney though so I consider that a good moral vote, which I'm sure some of you struggle with such a concept.
