Willie Mays dies at 93: Giants legend 'Say Hey Kid,' 24-time All Star, among greatest players in MLB history - CBSSports.com
So sad.. True legend!!

I have a few signed items from Mays. A baseball and a photograph.

Had them both for the last 45 years..
Maybe the best baseball player ever.

I'd agree. He and Babe Ruth would be the top 2 and both have a case for number 1. Micky Mantle could have been in the discussion if not for injuries and alcohol abuse.
Coincidentally my son in law and I were discussing who was the greatest player of all time the day before. I was in the Ty Cobb camp, he was all in on Mays. We both agreed you could not go wrong with either choice. He was truly a great one. Condolences to his family.
Dude makes 1 lucky catch and people crown him the greatest baseball player of all time. He could not even hold a candle in comparison with Pirates greats like Mazeroski, Clemente, and Paul Skenes

The dude was also "lucky" enough to hit 660 HRs, maintain a career .301 batting average and win 12 Gold Gloves.  That's a big candle.

ZERO Championships.  I like winners.

I just don't think he can be considered a Hall of Famer until winners like Omar Marino ('79 Pirates) get in.

If you’re going to make goofy [BLEEP] jokes you could at least spell Omar Moreno correctly.

In Pittsburgh, we spell Marino one way and yes, Omar (brother of Danny) was also Italian !!!

You are either trolling or have never seen The Say Hey Kid in action.
