In the chaos of yesterday’s events we missed the passing of these two individuals.

Those of us of a certain age were either members of team Brenda or team Kelly and have had Richard Simmons popping up with stuff our whole lives.

RIP
Dr. Ruth Westheimer died as well. I had forgotten all about her.

She looked old back in the 80s.

Hope God doesn't have a pot belly, queue up Bill Haley and his Comets lolol

Shannen reminded me of my ex wife, cute as hell but loved playing that [BLEEP] role..

All 3 were awesome though and made their marks in history!!

RIP..

I was either too old for 90210 or too metal, but anybody who defined themselves by characters on the show were  folks that I kept at a reasonable social distance.

My primary memory of Richard was all of his guest spots on Letterman. Dave always brought him on, and gave him a hard time, but you could tell that he genuinely cared. It was probably a bit, hopefully Richard was in on the gag. It seemed like some of the times Dave would get him just a little too uncomfortable. But he'd always welcome him back.
