I only watch Jags games, and here in Orlando I get almost all of them. I don't mind going to ale house the three or four times a year that I can only see the game there. So Sunday Ticket would never be worth $300 to me.
But I have used YouTube TV for about 2 years now. Every time I enter the app, instead of options for live TV, I get a banner ad saying I should buy Sunday ticket. They're literally making their app, that I pay for, harder to use in hopes that I'll give them more money. Also every week I get a email from them begging me to buy Sunday ticket. These people are not our friends.
Anyone else here use Crack Evolution on the firestick?

So you mean they’re trying to make money like every single business? Nooooooooo.
Didn't the NFL get sued over Sunday ticket? I think it's a great thing to have but it isn't worth the cost. I'd be willing to pay a hundred to two hundred bucks for it but at it's current price it is highway robbery in my opinion.

Just depends on the individual. My only alternative is to go to a sports bar. The cost of paying for Sunday Ticket more than makes up for itself, and I can watch way more than just the Jags games.

They did and they lost. Everyone was going to be getting money back until the judge decided to change the ruling. I wonder how much the judge got.

If you don’t like it, use another service. If you’re still gonna use it, then suck it up.

Tempted to get the DTV Business NFL ticket, but it's $1000 and did I mention I got a kid in college.
What do you hate about it?
The functionality of a physical DVR makes viewing/watching/pausing/rewinding 100 X better. Plus the sound through entertainment center is superior. We have decent internet, but the streaming still suffers at in-opportune times, skipping commercials harder, buffering, having to log into apps to watch, just sux.

This ^ for sure. Glad I'm not the only one who enjoys having programs local on a DVR, when the buffering ring pops up when I have a non-shared 1GB fiber line it is intensely annoying.

This why I'm hesitant to give up satellite. Video control is so much better that streaming. Plus, streams are at the mercy of errant yellow one-armed cable finders.

I don't know, I've never had any of these problems. I'm happier with streaming than I was with DirecTV, which I had for many, man years. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Thanks for answering. Just saying you don't like it doesn't really help in making a decision. It helps to know
why someone doesn't like something. That's why they ask.
So thanks.

When your power goes out because the wind stopped blowing in Texas, you can run a satellite off the generator. You can't run the internet off the generator unless all hops to you have generators.

I live in NY and it's 100% worth it. My issue is just that (in NY) they don't let you split the payments up through the season, you have to drop the whole $450 at once which with 4 kids right before school starts is a lot. Especially when I can stream it for free elsewhere.

In theory I agree with you but the cable company sent us multiple DVR units back in the day and all of them had weird bugs pop up pretty regularly. Had to reboot them a lot. Where'd you get your DVR from?

We live off the beaten path and have always had DTV and NFL ticket. Tivo, Then HRs, then HDR, and now Genie, besides the ads when paused it has worked well.
The buttons on our TV remotes to control the Youtube app are tiny and a a pain, I bought a human sized universal remote with regular buttons so we will see how it works.
I heard next year they may be having single team packages for Sunday Ticket. I only get Sunday Ticket for Jags games and if they lower the price, I’ll gladly come back. But the price is just too high.
I’ll have RedZone on one TV and the other TV will have a Jags stream from some website.
Holy cats! If you're active duty military or a veteran you can get NFLST for $199 through ID.me for the 2024 season!! We're cooking with grease, boys!
I think you have to be a new subscriber and you can't have already signed up for the 2024 season. I know folks can work around the subscriber stuff but since you can't get a refund on ST you're screwed if you're already signed up for the new season.
So if you're AD or a veteran and have ID.me, or you know an AD or vet who could use this most excellent news, check it out.
https://hosted-pages.id.me/youtube-tv-su...irect=true
If you or your buddy doesn't know about or doesn't have ID.me you should check it out. Not always huge savings or savings on what you're interested in but this is most definitely huge savings.

WOW, that's an amazing deal!
I live in North Carolina. I bought the Sunday Ticket which, as you know, only covers regular season games. As far as pre-season games, my only option would be to purchase NFL +, which I don’t think is worth the price I was happy to see on my local tv guide that the Jags/Chiefs game was going to be televised here, but the minute the game started I got this message that the game was blacked out in my area!. So I’m left with trying to listen to the pre-season games over the internet. I’ve tried tuning in to 1010 AM and 94.2 FM but as soon as the game starts , the station switches to another sports show. Last week I had to listen to the game on a Kansas City radio station! What’s up with this? If I can listen to the Jags vs. the Chiefs on a K.C. radio station why can’t I get the game on a Jacksonville station? I’m confused……hope somebody can clear this up for me. Thanks.
